Cuts threaten math, science programs

"I don't want to deep-six music or art," DiPatri said. "They are just too important."
Apparently, they are more important than Math and Science.
This sounds like an opportunity to further eliminate competetion from the classroom and "dumb down" our children with feel-good material.
Sorry DiPatri... if I want my kids to attend a Montessori-style school I'll send them to one. Until then, please use my tax dollars to EDUCATE my children and I iwll handle their personal enrichment at home!

In the future we are going to see more home schooling take place or the fl virtual on-line schooling will increase.Proably both.

Ya nintendo and jerry springer is really 'enriching your kids at home'...
Brevard should tear down those new 80 million dollar schools in the middle of nowhere and sell the copper... keep all the programs!
