Maybe there are some engine codes to steer you in the right direction. Bogs means drowns with fuel.
One of your sensors is not working within parameters
causing a fuel dump into the fuel injector.
See first id the computer connectors are plugged in properly. Fully seated by removing then replacing.
Throttle position, some models cam position, or crankshaft position.
Near upper radiator hose there are coolant temp switch and sensor.
Can check the A/C compressor to see if it froze up.
Check the water pump and alternator for bad bearings.
Do the pulleys wobble? Can go on more @ fixya.com
