FYI the conversion was done by Matt Graham in FL and was mostly a labor of love, done over 2 and a half years. The electrical components (batteries and motor) were quite expensive. We hope economy of scale, manufacturing and development and new research will make this kind of conversion cost effective in the future. It was done in part to show that electric cars of this kind are feasible and for one consumer and one passionate converter to offer support to the fledgling industry of electric makers
