She should not get special privilege to sell. She needs to follow the rules and get a permit just like everyone else. This is bigger than it looks. After all of this publicity this little girl can now fill up to 1000 online orders? Seriously and we are led to believe that she is acting alone in this? No an adult is behind this, now making a killing on their mistletoe sales for the holiday season. There is no way this kid could fill all of the orders now coming in. This is a publicity stunt and it is working all the way to the bank for these people because so many folks are just plain gullible.

I just saw this story on Fox news and I am busting a seam laughing at the Portland city government for not allowing children that want to do honest work to earn money for them selves and allowing them to be HARASSED and HASSLED for doing it. This young lady is to be applauded for her individualism and entrepreneurship and I say that they need to GET OFF OF HER BACK with their bureaucratic BS and allow her TO EARN HER MONEY INSTEAD OF BEGGING FOR IT and let other children do the same. I mean it is one thing for a city government to shake adults down for money but to try to shake down a child for money??? COME ON NOW THAT IS DOWN RIGHT SHAMEFUL

If you really look at this story you will see there are adults behind this "child". How else would she be able to set up a web site and see 1000 packages of mistletoe in a very short amount of time? She has you just as conned as most everyone else. Remember, her UNCLE owns the farm where the mistletoe originates. The kid was in an area of sellers that ALL bought permits and table to sell legally. I bet there were other kids there doing the right thing. If we all don't obey the law how can you pick and choose who should obey? Ridiculous. Saying this kid should not have to get a permit because of her age is like saying that kids under 18 should be able ignore all laws because of their age. Laws are for every one.

That is all a part of profit motive and free enterprise baby. In my first post I posted this (I mean it is one thing for a city government to shake adults down for money but to try to shake down a child for money??? COME ON NOW THAT IS DOWN RIGHT SHAMEFUL )I say this now and I will even explain it so even YOU should be able to understand it. Absolutely no child that is at or under a certain age should be a target for a shake down of money by any authority what so ever especially as long as they can prove that they are (EARNING) THE MONEY FOR A LEGITIMATE REASON. She said I believe that she was (needing) the money to (help pay) for braces for her teeth and SO WHAT! if she IS getting help from (adults) to do this EH? I love and adore my children and would do anything to help and support them especially in a situation such as this and I am 99.9 percent certain that even YOU would do the same for yours and before you get on here half cocked and shooting your mouth off and assuming that you are the grand master of knowing all you should stop and think first nk?
