Recently several residents of Yorkville went out to their vehicles to discover someone had thoroughly enjoyed the previous evening by vandalising their vehicles by scratching them the entire length once again providing evidence that this quaint, sweet little town is anything but quaint and sweet. The police ride up and down the streets and alleys talking on their cell phones past groups of young people in the early morning hours without even wondering what they are up to. Does the town have a curfew? If so, why is it not enforced? Does the town have a noise ordinance? If so, why is it not enforced. Worried someone may complain?
A person invests hard earned money in a vehicle or any other piece of property for that matter and a pathetic and worthless punk comes along and attempts to destroy it. Out of spite, meaness, boredom. There is no good reason for it. If they are ever caught, I hope they are punished and humiliated to the point that they just may think twice before thinking they have the right to destroy something someone else worked hard for. People like this don't think about the day their pathetic little world will come crashing down around them. I am just sorry I probably won't have the pleasure of watching it happen. |
