Inmate found dead at Rowan county detention center

Does anyone know anything about the 27 year old girl who was picke up for DUI Saturday night that was then later found dead in one of the holding cells at the Rowan County Jail?
When I saw that this person had died like she did, I went in to check www.jailtracker.com and went to the rowan county site to see what all they had on her. From what I saw she was picked up for DUI, possesion of a legend drug and another drug charge. I would pretty well bet that she had a possible reaction to the drugs she was on that led to her untimely death. Just remember to not judge this poor girl from this mistake she made, but instead remember her grieving family in their time of sadness. Inmate found dead at 5am in rowan co detention. MOREHEAD, Ky.(AP)--

Police are investigating the death of an inmate at the Rowan County Detention Center.

Kentucky State Police said in a news release Saturday that 27-year-old Tina Watkins, of Salt Lick, was found dead in her cell around 5 a.m.

Police said she was in jail on a charge of driving under the influence, but no arrest date was given.

An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday at the state medical examiner’s office, but officials do not suspect foul play.

I checked out jailtracker.com ; is there a site or a way to find out the results of when a person goes to court for charges before it comes out in the newspaper?

The court reporters for each county are responsible for putting out any information about any of the cases. You can google or yahoo search and see if there is a local newspaper that has an online report or if your county has a website with the info you are looking for.

Tina Marie Roberson Watkins, age 27 of Hwy 36, Frenchburg, Ky passed away Saturday, August 8, 2009 in Morehead, Ky. She was born September 21, 1981 in Rowan County, KY. She was a factory worker.

She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Douglas Roberson and her maternal grandfather, Humphrey Ferrell.

Surviving is her husband, Anthony Watkins of Campton, Ky. Her mother LueRhetta Ferrell Roberson of Frenchburg, Ky. One son, Anthony Larry Douglas Roberson of Frenchburg, Ky . Maternal grandmother, Rhetta Ferrell of Salt Lick, Ky; Paternal grandparents, Russell Gene Roberson & Dorothy Francis Roberson of Olympia, Ky. One brother, Larry Douglas Roberson Jr. & wife Ashley Dawn Roberson of Morehead, Ky. Host of cousins, uncles & aunts.

Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 pm Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at Bethel Baptist Church, Frenchburg, Ky with Bro. Dennis Flannery officiating. Burial will follow in the Ferrell Cemetery on Stone Quarry Road in Sudith, KY.
