you people need to keep your confused comments to yourselves and stop trying to start something. You have no idea what type of equipment & supplies are being used at any time during the daily workings of a farm...that could be dangerous. And most types of insurance policies for farmers DO NOT PAY OUT UNLESS YOU USE IT TO REBUILD> so he did not stand to make any money.....a**holes

Just to let you know, I do know what equipment and supplies are used on a farm. I do know the daily activity on a farm and I do know the time and sweat that a person puts into farming on a daily basis. BUT.... its funny that a barn can barn completely 20 min. after the milk truck leaves the property...oh ya and what about the last time the barn burnt, or the house, or the garage.....do I need to keep going?

I remember the barn burning down when I was younger, but I don't remember the house or garage ever burning down? When did that happen?

The back side of the house was years ago and the garage was right after he purchased the big tractor that did not fit in the old garage that burnt.

How much do you understand????
You see now the work is gone. The feed bill, the electric, the hired hands, the tractor that burnts bill, all the expenses for the farm have disappeared. If he owed on the animals, thats gone, and as for the farm it should be paid for unless he took out another mortgage against it.
As for him starting a new line of work...he don't have to. He has had another job for years ans makes good money at it. So he keeps working and life goes on......

I know someone who just lost a building. It went up in about 2 minutes and was a total loss. No one knows what caused it. Fires can start at the drop of a hat. I should know. I've seen lots of fires in the Constableville area. No one would start one on purpose. No way.
