I have known this kid for many years and it doesn't suprise me at all that he did this. I just feel bad for the parents of the other kid that died, they must be crushed to know that their son had a part in these crimes.

I just wanted to say Fox 13 went to far by posting pictures of Hayden Housel in their report, it was like throwing a double dagger into the family of Hayden this is a very loving family who has already gone through plenty and didn't need you flashing his picture all over the news after his death, I have known Hayden since he was four years old and is not the person you made him out to be, drugs are a terrible problem and the schools need to provide more searches and control this problem, I can tell you as a parent you can walk down the halls of Bingham High School and other schools and buy drugs from other students freely it is absolutly ridiculous. I refuse to watch your channel any more because its all about getting the story and not taking anybodies feeling into consideration, I hope and pray that none of you have to go through any of these issues with your children as I have, and yes my child has spent time behind bars and was one of the worst things I have dealt with in my life that I never thought I would have to go through, he was also friends with Hayden and also has come from a loving home, but drugs have no boundries and touch everyone and is one of the hardest things for parents toever have to deal with.....

I am so glad that the public is aware of the epidemic on hand. I was so very blessed to know Hayden and had an opportunity to spend the last year of his life learning about someone who kept his real self so hidden from the world. I hope that the public can understand that although these young men committed crimes that will forever haunt others, they are/were not these "horrible monsters" that so many people make them out to be. Both young men were faced with a demon that cannot always be conquered. Hayden put forth his best fight, however, it wasn't his time to win. Gardner, may your best fight bring you peace and serenity at last. We miss you H!

I do want to add that Fox did nothing wrong by posting pictures of Hayden. The public needs to see that this can happen to anyone. Hayden came from a wonderful home with an amazing family. Let's hope that others can learn from Hayden's death...there is no shame, nor should there ever be.

I have known Gardner & his family for 9 years and they are the most amazing & genuine people I have ever met. Gardner really is a sweet, loving kid with a very good heart. Addiction can make the most wonderful people do things they would never consider before. My heart goes out to the Housel family. To the Westgate's, all of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
