its really sad that this is what our cops are going after. POT DEALERS. are u serious? I mean the weapons are a little excessive, but im sure it was jsut to protect the millions they had. Great job by the cops and feds enforcing the LAW, or have you forgotten that pot is still AGAINST the law? Just because you feel it's all right to smoke pot doesn't make it LEGAL to do so, and the cops were doing their jobs. Since when do YOU get to pick and choose which laws YOU will obey?

If you don't like the law, change it, but until then, the cops have to enforce it, whether you like it or not. So quit griping and find another LEGAL way to celebrate the Labor Day weekend!

Of course, "progressive" Amsterdam is also the home of hookers who advertise their goodies in shop windows, as well as a flourishing kiddie porn industry. It also has a growing problem with heroin and other hard drugs, because of the perceived leniency on the part of the police and government, which attracts users and dealers from all over Europe and the world. In addition, there is a growing problem in the Netherlands with Muslim fundamentalists. That doesn't sound like a very good example to follow, unless you only care about getting high!
