"It was a childish prank," said a woman who said she was Morrison's grandmother, but would not give her name.

Nice...what do you expect from the kids when the grandmother acts as if it's nothing!

I think ALL inflatable's should be punctured. Classless, trailer park lawn ornaments. Have a plastic, fantastic Christmas.

And now here's the human interest story to end our newscast: Little Johnny thought it would be a funny thing to soap the windshields of all the cars and trucks on his block. That is, until ol'Hank caught little Johnny soaping his truck's windshield. Hank tood his hunting rifle and shot little Johnny five times through the head. Johnny died instantly and his family is having a wake for Christmas. That's the news, good night!

On one hand, kids do stupid things and you can chalk it up as a prank and move on.....on the other hand, I have five fingers.

They were being kids, and for newsday to be posting an article about this and call it news worthy, its pretty sad when there are a lot of other things going on. Just the fact that the paper said "Farrel broke the news to his two sons" such drama. Its as if they killed santa or something.. this article was so stupid!

The perps punishment should be that they have to replace the ornaments at their own expense (or have their mommy or daddy pay it for them) and then be sentenced to HOLD the ornaments overnight Christmas Eve.
That will make the two little punks think twice before damaging other peoples property.

Made the brats who did this pay for the damages and do some sort of community service. Kids have got to learn that there are consequences for your actions.

Just kids? WTF? 16 and 20 is definitely old enough to know better. They should be prosecuted to fullest extent of the law. That's what happens when Mommy and Daddy decide to be "friends" with their kids.
