My wife and I found a new place in Bay Shore named Hemisphere, it was off the beaten path of main street which was was nice and quite all considering. We went in Saturday night for dinner. It was a little slow going until about 9PM when there was a rush of about 15-20 people. We ate an amazing dish that featured diver scallops and pork bellies, these were amazing. We also enjoyed the lobster and french toast (never seen that one before) Overall the food was amazing. We asked our waiter about some of the cocktails that were on their menus, I tried and loved the Improv and my wife loved the French 75. The deserts were also delicious and amazingly fresh, we had the cheese cake mouse and the fresh donuts (out of this world). we completed our night with espresso (the decaf was decaf!)
the total was higher than some local restaurants but I felt it was very fair considering the quality and the overall experience. We will defiantly be coming back and will be recommending Hemisphere to our friends.
