There is something wrong with both of these people writing these comments. I am sure your kids as teenagers were just perfect. Both of you who wrote these comments should be ashamed of yourselves. Your opinions sure would be different if it was your kid. What As*hole you are..

1 clueless and 1 disagree.. you must have little kids, just wait till there teens years .I'm sure you think their never do drugs, only pick perfect boyfriends/girlfriends, and do everything that you taught them. Parents of young kids are so funny, you got got alot to learn about teens. But I am sure with the long isand mentally of most parents you'll blame "the other kid"..Good luck with your perfect kids, you'll need it.

So what about all the adult "walkers", they never walk on the side walks, always walk in the street like they OWN it.. Some I do see wearing the vest, that you can see them in the dark, but for the most part they do not. Talking about a 18 year kid that was hit by a car, you people must be the same ones that stop in the middle of the street with your cars so you can talk to your neighbors, not giving a sh*t about the car behind you waiting...Not that i would ever wish bad on anyone , or their kids BUT what mean, rude, stupid comments to make..Watch out for your kids, they might be busy talking to there friends and not pay attention, First thing you would do is call a lawyer to sue.. FOOLS..

what is really sick about these comments is that they are from adults.calling an 18 year old a moron, and the other ruining your families holiday's, Now go to church on sunday and make believe your a decent human being amoung your neighbors. There is a thing called karma, hope it gets you in the future. For those comments you deserve it.

An 18-year old is an adult, and should know better than to stand in the road at night with dark clothing on. If he were 10 or 11 years, I'd see your point.

I find it quite disturbing when people who don't even know the persons involved intentionally go out of their way to make crude, nasty comments. I also find it quite pathetic... have you nothing better to do with your time? And before one of you limited morons make another ignorant statement... I chose to read the comments because I am a friend of the family... I sure hope the family doesn't. I hope people have more respect of your loved ones tragedies than you had of theirs. My deepest sympathy goes out to the family.

I am hopefull that this poor kid's injury will serve a purpose and provide a lesson to other young people not to stand in the road, at night, in dark clothes, and not pay attention to traffic.

not to place blame on the driver, because he was not drunk or anything, but how about paying attention when your driving a car in a residental area....yeah, like every kid in college 18 -21 are real adults... again to all of you who have no compassion, i wish the same remarks to you if you every find yourself in this sitution.you never know what can happen in life..you low life...and why don't you put your real names on this site so all your neighbors can know what type of people you are, cowards....

I had the pleasure of having Pete in my class. He was always a polite, soft spoken young man...a true gentleman. He never passed my room without shouting a 'Hello' into the doorway.
Accidents happen. Unfortunately, Pete did not survive this. I feel sorry for all of the negative posters out there, that your life is so empty that you have to result to all the vicious comments to make yourselves seem (self) important. I won't answer you here because in all of the years that I knew Pete, I never heard him raise his voice or say a bad thing about anyone. I will follow his example. Sometimes the elders can truly learn from the 'youngsters'.

Drivers just don't pay attention these days. A vehicle is a weapon, unintended or not. I think drivers need way more consequences. Also the gas tax should go way up.

I was an extremely close friend of Peters like many other people. I can talk for days and days about every amazing memory we have shared together, he was someone I always counted on no matter what was happening. I will miss him everytime I do anything even drink a cup of coffee. He will be the God-Gather of my children when I grow up as promised. I love him more than words can ever express. To Peters huge family i'm so sorry for this loss. We are going into the new year missing someone strong and vital, this tradgedy will never be forgotten.
As for those who had cruel and ignorant comments I have nothing to say to you except him 16 year old best friend got to read every disquisting word you wrote.
Pete Bamboozle wont be the same without you Crazyface, R.I.P. sweetheart.

"They" say a good friend will bail you out of jail but best friend will be sitting beside you saying "damn that was fun".
So I ask you. What kind of friend were you?
