Did you hear about the terrible automobile accident last night? A
polish family on vacation lost all of their children. The pickup
truck they were riding in ran off the road into a lake and sank to the
bottom. The parents got out of the cab OK but all the kids in the
back drowned...they couldn't get the tailgate open

I would love to race somebody in safe manner. But where????? Where is the nearest racetrack that would allow me to push pedal to the metal and race? Where is nearest legal 1/4 mile drags trip?? I would love to pay some money to take my car on Saturday and race my friends. But there is no such place on Long Island that I know about. People with cars will always race, question is where they can do it safely? Same story repeats itself with ATV but this is another topic.

For one I am on that strect or road several tmes a day. I could have been in the car with my daughter that night and god forbid, been at the wrong place at the wrong time. I think the people here are being a little harsh with the name calling, but the fact of the matter is his actions and the actions of the other driver put many lives at risk and yeas greatfully he didnt take anyone else out with him.
We are now living in a society where no one takes responsibility for the actions anymore and everything is everyone else's fault. This guy finally beared the brunt of his actions and I am sure this wasnt the firts time he drove like that.
To the other coward who ran away, step up and be a man! You did wrong admit to it, face what you have to face and maybe some other people will learn from your stupidity and not put others lives at risk for a personal thrill!!

I agree it is very lucky he didn't take an innocent person with him. No doubt, he was young, invincable and had a need for speed. He was just a child and could have been yours! He was living with his sister without any real guidance. Most children left to live on their own at such a young age will live life to the fullest, taking risks and pushing the limits. He didn't deserve to die this way, nobody does, he had a whole life ahead of him! I saw his car the day of the supposed race, tires looked bald and mismatched and had problems starting.I really don't understand how this car passed inspections or did it? He was reported many times about his speed to the NYPD. Maybe if he received a few warnings or tickets he would still be alive!

Does somebody have the name and address of his parents, or at least their names so I can look them up in Poland? I knew him too and started college, and when I went back to New York this past month I heard about this horrible tragedy. Please someone help. Thanks!

He was a piece of sheet, and I am glad he is dead before he hurt anyone else.

Has his family sent us a check yet to pay for the clean up?

Unfortunately we can't
We have a plan to teach a real driver education course to them for free, and getting them while in school and going above and beyond what the states dangerous system is teaching them now.
Unfortunately we can't
Why can't we, because of prejudice and bigoted people.
