Parking at a premium for rail commuters

The parking lot at Fairfield Metro Train Station in Fairfield, Conn. had plenty of empty spaces at 10:30 am on Tuesday, June 11, 2013.

i thought building these new stops was going to take care of the parking issues, another well thought out plan by our clueless politicos.

But it seems like the new station is a good option for those who are locked out of the other fairfield stations... plus there would be more empty seats when you board the train. I would think that in time, that new station would fill up.

At the older Fairfield station, there is a lot more parking available since the newer station opened up.
