I'm wondering why Mrs. Williams' husband didn't attend the family meeting? And also, does anyone in Wayne county remember Mrs. Claude Brown who was mysteriously murdered and thrown into the Chickasaway river back in the 1970s or 80s? Her murder was never solved after the authorities in Forrest county found her purse in the Bowie river and her body later surfaced in the Chickasaway river back in Wayne county!Seems like hit-style type murders on women never get solved in that Wayne county,ms."Things that make you go HUMMMM?

Mrs. Williams husband did not attend the family meeting because the family did not inform him of the meeting. Also, to address your comment/opinion on murders on women don't get solved in Wayne County. That is not accurate. The murder case of Mrs. Williams has been solved and 4 suspects have been arrested after confessing to the crime. There was no "hit-style" murder, it was a planned and intentional murder as confessed by the suspects. To be accurate, out of all the murders last year committed in Wayne County all have been solved except for one.

Dear To Pissant; I can tell by your comments that, either you are not old enough to know about all the going-ons in and around Wayne county all of these years past,or you haven't lived in this part of the country long enough to actually know, first hand about all the unsolved murders and crime that has been committed in WAYNE county. Why don't you get off all of your public sounding statistics and talk some to some of the countys' old timers ,if they will talk to you, and you just might learn some secrets!!!

You are right about one thing, I'm not old enough to remember the one particular murder pertaining to Ms. Claude Brown. But you are wrong to assume that I haven't lived in Waynesboro long enough to know about unsolved murders and crimes that have been committed in here and FYI my statistics are not "public sounding" as you stated, but from personal knowledge. As far as facts go, there were 4 murders that I know of that happened last year alone and the only ones that has been resolved is the one of Mrs. Williams and another man whose name I can't remember at the moment, but I know it had something to do with dogfighting. The other murders involved African-Americans and they have yet to be solved. I'm not making this is a racial issue, it's just that it seems that the only murder that was solved with so much publicity was Mrs. Williams. There were actually some suspects arrested and charged on the Norman Howard murder but later dropped. Also, Kynard Buford and a lady friend of his were also murdered and that case doesn't even have any leads. I personally knew 2 of the murder victims of last year, including Mrs. Williams and Mr. Buford, needless to say 2008 was one of the worst years of my life. So don't think that I'm not "hip" to what's going on in Waynesboro. My original point was that Mrs. Williams' murder was solved and was merely citing one case of a woman that was murdered in Waynesboro and the killers were actually apprehended. I totally agree with you and I think that law enforcement seem to focus too much on catching drug dealers than on catching killers, which should be more of a priority due to the nature of the crimes. Let's face it, you can lock up drug dealers all day but there's always going to be another one to take their place. You can only kill someone once and probably get away with it for a long time or in the case of Ms. Brown, the rest of someone's life.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Scorpio

If you're feeling brave enough, you should get out all your receipts`, and then tot up how much you've spent this month. Or don't you have the courage to do so? It will be far better to know the truth than to pretend that everything's all right. But don't let it spoil what promises to be a delightfully enjoyable and rather emotional day.
