Review: Jillian Grace Salon

I was looking for a salon closer to my home in West Grove (I've always had to go to Kennett or Glenn Mills) and I came across Jilian Grace Salon. When I called to make an appointment the receptionist was so helpful and nice, which is always a good sign. Then came the appointment. AMAZING! As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted with a smile and offered amenities that not all salons offer. My stylist was very nice and listened to what I wanted, but she also put her two cents in. The finished product looked great and I will most certainly be returning. A++!!

A great salon to a small area. I had my second appointment today and was pleased again with the color,cut and style. My stylist was pleasant, honest and helpful in picking out a great style for me. I would recommend to everyone who is looking for a salon experience, not a "hair cuttery" experience, it is certainly worth it!

I have been very pleased and have had alot of compliments on my hair cuts and styling since I have been going to the salon. My daughter also has had her hair done at Jillian Grace and too, has been happy with the results. My stylist is helpful and has great suggestions. I have recommended the salon to many friends.

The owner has been cutting my hair for almost ten years now. I followed her from her previous salon, where I was already driving 30 minutes out of my way. Jillian Grace is a very well-run place, professional and friendly, and they do a great job.

I always went to Wilmington or Hockessin for Professional treatment - it is so wonderful having a fantstic salon like Jillian Grace just 5 minutes away. Best cut & color I have had in years & will definitely return!

I am a client at a salon in Kennett Square where Jillian and some of her staff members previously worked. Economic times are difficult for everyone, however, why would she and her staff be calling me and former clients to come to her new salon? This is very unprofessional. If we were interested in going to her, we would have left when she first opened.
I am staying were I am! Convenient location, great customer service and staff with AFFORDABLE prices.

I know where you are coming from. I too was approached and feel this is very unprofessional. I will stay at the salon in Kennett Square. It is very nice and in a good location near my home.

This is an obvious competitor trying to alter the great reputation of a high end salon. It's pathtic. If people aren't happy with their hair cut, they don't waste time blogging about it. Thats psych 101. They wouldjust never go back. It's only when your happy with the work when you insist on boasting about it publicly. It's sad to see competition must lower themselves to this level in order to try and keep pace with the salon that has taken most of their business.

Like Peter, I too have been going to Jillian for about 10 years. It is very unusual for such a young woman to be so successful. This only happens when certain conditions are present...dedication, talent, personality, and consistency. The salon that she worked at previously was only 10 minutes from my home, whereas the new location is about 20-25 min. But, duh!!! It's my hair!!!! Have car, will travel! Convenience is just not an issue. Her prices are exactly the same and have not increased. In this industry it is very common for direct marketing to take place. Show me a salon owner who hasn't marketed his/her clients once they have decided to take the plunge and go into business for him/herself. This is America...free enterprise and all that stuff! If you are happy where you are and you are being solicited, "just say no"! What's the big deal.?? I, too, am self employed and know what it takes to development a customer base. That is why it is called competition. The way I look at it...if you are happy with your stylist you'll stay with her/him, if not, you'll find someone else. I totally agree with Angela. Jillian Grace Salon is an upscale salon with a truly professional environment. And let's not forget the front desk personnel...The first impression as I like to call them...AWESOME! Not one mistake. Very pleasant and quite an attractive group of women. I've always loved the idea of walking into a salon and seeing women that I would like to look like! Anyway, I love the Salon and it's employees and I wish Jillian all the success in the world as she truly deserves it.

I recently moved to the area 2 months ago and I never was too picky about my hair, but my wife (as all women are) was and we decided to try this salon. I was amazed at how exceptionally clean and attractive the salon was. Having been to the same barber for 10 years and never really getting exceptional customer service, I was quite surprised to be served great coffee in a mug and not a paper cup. My wife was just as excited to have found a perfect salon to go to and build a relationship with. I found the staff very courteous professional and kind. The prices were great as well, my wife pointed out how less expensive the price was compared to her old hair stylist and that the service was much better.

I couldn't agree more. This is a listing to write comments about how well a service at a business is doing. Not to fan disagreements about not getting a job at this salon. Seems like someone is jaded.

I had my haircut mid January and am about to make another appointment this week. I was very happy with the look and feel of my hair and was especially pleased with the service received. I am thrilled to have such a nice place so close to home.

I had my hair cut and colored by Elizabeth just last night! She took a good six inches off my hair and I was very nervous about going short. Long story short....best cut I've ever gotten and I've been getting compliments left and right. As long as Jillian Grace Salon is open, Elizabeth will be my hairsylist!

I just recently started getting my hair cut at Jillian Grace, and I love it!!! Not only that, but I had my 12 year old daughters hair cut there as a walk in and they treated her respectfully and made her feel like a princess. Most places that I have delt with in the past just cut her hair as quickly as possible. I would recomend this salon to everyone!!!!

knowing anyone; met Kelly at the Design Center and
she told me her salon does coarse, curly hair-
WOW! Kelly does my hair and she's AWESOME!! If
you tell her exactly what you want, she does it
with STYLE; she's just great; I would reccommend
her to anyone who needs a GOOD hairdresser-she really knows what the customer wants (YEA!)-And,
as far as the stylists I've seen goes, they're
very professional and very nice girls-BRAVO!
