my chain of thought would be some of the questions that wouldb asked to him...like do you have enemies who might do this,is there anyone you would suspect?,.are you fathful to your wife, have you been having monetay difficulties?..it would be a yes or no thing and if he can pass all and a few more they can follow his answers that he fails, if he fails... i feel like someone has to know something like a few other murders in this big old township of coffee county!..its scary here sometimes..

I hope this isn't the repeat of a Doris W case. Ask the right questions to all the right people.

I totally agree. I know we outsiders don't know all the facts, but from what we all do know about this it sure seems odd. It all points to one person, but they have to have proof I know. I just feel so terrible for her son in all this. Whether her husband committed the crime or not I know has to be a hard thing to deal with being their child, you know. Just terrible.

Why will you not tell who it is? We would all like to know. It could be someone we could or could never see doing something like this. It could be someone we say wow.. She could and would do that. Or maybe they both did it together.. I know he was seeing one girl named Valerie. It wasn't yesterday but it's said that she could possibly have a child with him. I'm still hoping Larue had nothing to do with this but I am keeping an open mind..

Or could it just be that she walked in on a robbery. You know they just shot the girl at Dollar General when she fought back. There are a 100 possibilities. I mean if the sheriff's office are not making any head way we can try for her family..

In murder cases/suspected murder cases, if there is a spouse, that person is always the first suspect. When one of my siblings died at home, the investigator questioned the family to get leads. That's done in EVERY case. I would hate to know that somebody thought I killed my sibling. How would you feel? Stop being judge and jury. Let the investigators do their work. Every member of this family needs prayer. Douglas/Coffee County has so many churches and so many so called Christians it's not funny. I've heard so many rumors this week coming from people who call themselves Christians. Now that's terrible.

a killer is walking around on the streets that is evil enough to kill a lady and burn her and a home to the ground. the majority of the people in this community want justice, not sweet talk. mad as hell at people like you.!! we have to many killers walking free in this town as it is, we don't need one more.

Now that the funeral is over and respects have been paid the GBI and CCSO can get down to work. Apparently Larue never tried to run, or they would have locked him up for questioning. I would think he's been the their 'sights' all week. Let's give the investigators a chance to work before we try to condemn them for not solving the death in weeks time.

Campbell if you know one little thing, and its a for sure thing, not roumor you should call the GBI or SO..just one little lead can lead to another

I think when the real truth is made public one of the first people to spot the fire will be who moved and saved the car and not he husband.

There is a new thread I just read. Its about people on Topix getting sued and having to payup. People posting on Topix need to read it.

Since law enforcement haven't made any arrests shouldn't they warn the local community to use extra caution since there may be a killer on the loose

We are all just speculating and there is no harm in that. I think if he did do it the reason he didn't run was because he didn't have time. The lady that came up on the house burning got there within split seconds of it all happening I believe. This lady i have heard got there and was able to run thru a small portion of the house and hollar for her. He didn't have a chance to run is what I think. This is all just my way of thinking, and hearsay so don't hang me for saying it. Just a thought.

My post was not "SWEET" as you say!!! NOT!!! It was meant to remind folks to pray for this family and let the investigators do their job.

It was a well known fact that he cheated on his wife. It wasn't just once, but a lifestyle from way back. Anyone who knows the family, knows this. Edith was true to marriage vows and it took her death to break them. It was a horrific tragedy, but she is in the presence of the Lord and will get to see her loved one and saved friends again.

1. Heard he burned house after killing her.
2. Heard he was drunk that night!
3. Heard that GF works with him!
4. Heard he has cheated on her for years.
5. Heard he has always been trouble for his family.
6. Heard she was beat to death.
7. Heard she was shot 5 times.
8. Heard she set the house on fire herself before killing herself to frame him.
9. Heard she was on phone in her bedroom 5 minutes before fire was called in.
10. Heard she was on the sofa.
BUT WHAT I WANT TO HEAR IS THE TRUTH!! Hope they catch him or her soon!
