because i can't root for West Frankfort because of the coaching. I will admit good thinig Jr.High has Josh Web he has done a great job! Wish high school had a good coach. Especially if the record was winning 4 and losing 20...time to throw the towel in

So If the kids at school are caught with their cell phone isn't the punishment ACR or Saturday Detention now? Well what if a teacher lets students use their phone....what his punishment? Looks like a "teacher" is in control of that school more than the Principal is. Typical of this guy to do what he wants, when he wants. No matter what the rules are.

SEAL BEACH, Calif.(AP)– Every hair-dressing station was full at Salon Meritage when a gunman burst through the door and began shooting, sending terrified customers diving for cover in the upscale salon tucked just blocks from the beach in this quaint seaside town. The shooter then stepped outside, shot a man sitting in a truck in the parking lot and sped off. By the time it was all over Wednesday, eight people were dead and another in critical condition in one of the deadliest shooting rampages in Orange County and the most violent crime in memory in Seal Beach, a town so calm the police spokesman couldn't even recall when the last homicide occurred when asked.
"There was like a 'pop pop'… and my receptionist screamed out,'He just shot that man' and we all went into the bathroom and called 911," said Kimberly Criswell, who owns a salon two doors away and knew many hairstylists at Salon Meritage. "I'm sure I've lost some friends today."
Police arrested 42-year-old Scott Dekraai about a half-mile from the scene but did not release a motive or any other details.In all, one man and five women died at the salon, one man and one woman died after being transported to a nearby hospital, and one woman remained in critical condition. Their names have not been released.
Friends of the salon owner and other employees said Dekraai was the ex-husband of a stylist who worked there. One of the licensed cosmetologists at the salon was listed as Michelle Dekraai. Bowles would only say, "There may be something to the motive as to a relationship with somebody in the salon, that is our assumption." He declined to elaborate later.

BENTON, Ill.(AP)- A woman who authorities suspect of concealing the drowning of her 8-year-old daughter now faces a grand jury's indictment accusing her in the killing.

The (Carbondale) Southern Illinoisan (http://bit.ly/pNf4ya ) reports that 28-year-old Mary Jophlin pleaded not guilty Tuesday in Franklin County to charges of first-degree murder, concealment of a homicide and obstructing justice.

Jophlin is accused of killing Alexus Smothers on July 19 at their West Frankfort home, then hiding the girl's body in a basement crawlspace.

A West Frankfort police officer has testified that Jophlin gave him conflicting accounts of what happened to the girl, first calling the child's death "somewhat accidental" before terming it "not accidental."

Jophlin remains jailed in lieu of $2 million bail.

You could get David Copperfield to coach the HS team and they wouldn't have done any better. There was just a lack of talent period. Hopefully the talent is on an upswing as these jr high players cycle into HS.

talent and coaching go hand in hand. If their was a decent COACH there would be more TALENT playing. The girls that have stuck out the piss poor excuse of a coach DO have talent, shame on you for cutting those hard working girls guts out. Look at the numbers drop. If the AD would ask the girls that have played and have now chose not to you would have your answer as to why they didn't have a totaling winning season. He dosent now how to bring the girls ability up he only knows how to bring the moral down. Ask some of the umpires. They have said HE is by far the one coach that cosses the line the most with the players.
