I'm wanting to get a pool this summer for my family. Not sure where to go. I see a lot of pools in yards around here, so I thought I would get some opinions.

. I'm wanting a round pool. The size kinda depends on the price. At least a 24 round. Just don't know much about the pool places around West Frankfort. I have heard horror stories about installations not going so good. Just wondering if anybody has anything good to say, so I know where to go?

I heard the place on 37. EarthWorks. Has pools now, they are nice people. I don't know anything about their pools though.

Earthworks by all means.....local people. Always available when needed. I've done a great deal of business with them. Very happy with the work, products, and very courteous people.

I know for a fact you don't want to go to Jacksons!!! He's a jerk! I got a pool from them and they put in a totally different pool than the one I paid for!! I paid for a nicer one than the one I got and he never made it right!!
Just wondering, were u not at home when they were installing. Why would you let them install a pool that was not the one you paid for, or why let them finish it? Did you not have a bill of sale? I have dealt with many pool stores around and unfortunately had to drive out of town for a few summers. I am pleased with Jacksons, they always have the supplies I need, when I need them. He has repaired things for us and given us parts to use for trial and error. Just my opinion, and maybe Ive been fortunate but given his years in the business I trust him. And...BAM....sorry about your experience....sounds like you may be one of those unlucky ones.

I've walked in and gotten tons of FREE advice from Jacksons. Seems like a nice enough guy to me. Never made any large purchases tho.

We purchased our pool 5 years ago in Salem, great installation and service, the shop by hardees is also very good, always willing to help test water even though we did not purchase the pool there, and believe me this is important for a pool owner.

Hose Thomas put mine in. Overall he did a good job. Only thing I don't really like is that there is a steeper than expected grade in the concrete.

I got a pool last summer from Dave Jackson. I love it. They were great at guiding me thru the process and were helpful after the purchase with questions, water testing, best chemicals, etc.

I say with all this rain you could just dig a pond. Just kidding. It's just hard to think about swimming with this crazy weather.

. My parents had the same problem. And then told them they don't make pools any deeper than 5 ft.
