Can you believe crownline is scr**ing us again. The insurance they have offered is sky high, no one can afford it. It would take two pay checks for us to have insurance. Maybe we all should of stayed on unemployment and got us a medical card, one way or another they always find away to scr*w you over. Should of know different owners, Tim would never have done this to his people. I wish he still owned it, at least he gave a crap about his people. Kevin and Tami are only out for their own paychecks.

But Kevin is just acting on the advice Ms Murphy and J Heisner are giving him. Too bad he does not know how they made fun of him while he was gone.

It is amazing what happens when a woman finally gets some strange

The bad thing is everyone out there was getting some strange. Wonder if that has changed with new ownership? The divorce capital of southern Il.

All i want to know is how Kevin and Tami and Jacob got away without being drug tested, we all know they can't pass one. That's wrong when everyone else has to take them but the office. All is fair in love and war. I also noticed that they hired back most of the lazy workers and didn't the hard working team. Now you all will know why when we go belly up again. No need to wait for the news reports and false paper ads telling how good things are going.

Wow. Really??
1)Leisure Properties bought the plant & it is in full production
2) I for one am very pleased with what Crownline has offered us as far as medical. Free doctors visits & $300 a month toward private insurance/medical costs. I have family coverage for less than $300, so basically, they are paying my health ins & dental plus free visits to the clinic for the family. Stop your cry-babying & be thankful you have a job.
3)Does it really matter who is screwing who?? None of any of our buisness
4)Dont do the drugs & dont worry about it
5) All of those LAZY people sure are building 28 boats a week with LESS THAN HALF of the workforce from 2008
6) Crownline is doing very well & has been open for nearly a year already. They hire through Extra Help, call them for info

I hope the best for crownline and the people that work there. But im afraid if they keep on the same track they are on they will destroy themselves again. Lest get real people a company that large has to produce more than 28 boats a week!!!! A building that big that barley covers the supplies and payroll. So the management starts to cut corners they shouldnt to absorb some of the cost but its like a ticking time bomb waiting to blow. For instance i have been in the fiberglass industry for 15 years now and you can fake alot of things in building boats. like touch up, spay core ect... but you cant fake lamination!!! This is the most vital process in boat building so you dont mess with the integrity of that. you dont double skin parts RON WILLIAMS you know better espically in a hull. These are peoples lives here!! Why in the world you would compromise that to save a buck is poor management, and the company will pay the price.

The entire factory is ran by butt kissing a** that's what is wrong with the company and that's why it will close again! Bring in new management and you will see things get going again.....also i agree 28 boats isn't near what was produced in the past in that huge building! WHERE DID ALL OF THE EXPERIENCE GO! PLEASE YOU ARE THE PEOPLE WHO NEED TO APPLY! HELL WITH EXTRA HELP, THESE PEOPLE DON'T WANT TO COME BACK TO CHICKEN FEED WAGES WHEN THEY CAN GO ELSEWHERE.....AND NOT HAVE TO KILL THEMSELVES FOR THE SAME PAY! BOTTOM LINE NEW MANAGEMENT!

I do have to agree with Ball Buster on the quality, many years ago Crownline was all for quality over quantity, that seems to have fallen through sometime over the last few years. It will eventually catch up with them, hopefully it wont be too late.
I also agree that 28 boats isnt much, I can remember when CL was prodicing 21 boats a DAY, but that was a whole different world... literally.
Todays world (economy) is simply not strong enough to produce those kinds of numbers again, sad but true.
As far as hiring through Extra Help... I guess if you are too good for that, I hear McDonalds is always hiring smiling faces :)
Lets face it, jobs are not easy to come by these days & MOST people will take what they can get. Unless of course you are one of those who are approaching their second year on unemployment....well I guess I still have my pride

The quality has gone down the crapper, but it can't be too bad or people wouldn't buy the boats right? And if you wanna do drugs and have a job too then you could be a drug dealer, or maybe run a resale thrift shop, or even work in a pet store. And what is the point of this forum anyways? If you have a problem with these people then man up, grow a sack, and tell them that you think they are pieces of trash instead of being a chickenshit. But you won't, so be a doucher and bash them some more. I'm sure they won't read this anyways because unlike people like me and you, they actually have real lives and friends, and go to this place called "the real world"! Peace out beatch!

I think some of you people who think that boat factory work is easy are very wrong. You deserve good pay to risk everything for the long hours and chemical exposure is very hard on you.I don't blame anyone for wanting to get a good wage there. It's not worth the health risk to not get paid a descent wage. Just wanted to say BRP is hiring at a descent wage and does have insurance, might want to check it out.
