We'd really like to get our Canon Rebel digital camera back, and am confident someone out there has information about it. It's not really about the dollar value of the camera and equipment, it was inherited, and has a lot of sentimental value to us. If you know anyone who has bought or sold a nice Canon digital camera lately, please don't pass it off as legitimate. We can easily identify if even if the serial number is missing. WE ARE DOUBLING OUR REWARD OFFER to $1000, but only until October 7th, 2012. After that we will withdraw our reward offer entirely, and accept the fact that while it has been taken, God will meet up with those responsible one day.

Where did the golf clubs and oakley information come from? I had to reread this to see if that was on there. Hmmmm... I am no Columbo but that is suspicious as hell---o!
I don't know why a person can't have anything any more. People will steal absolutely ANYTHING! They have no soul. I hope they are haunted daily by the people they steal from but I think they are already haunted by the drugs that keep them low-class-scum-of-the-earth-wa ste-of-my-air.
Maybe we need to find an island and send all of these people to and have a new Survivor reality show for them instead of spending our tax dollars trying to keep them in jail, paying for their meals, beds, lawyers, etc. Get them medically cleared from drugs and let them deotx on the island and learn to sustain themselves for a certain amount of time. Maybe give them some challenges. Hey, isn't that like bootcamp meets Survisor? That might work.

If it had been insured I would have turned it in. Unfortunately, it was not insured. Not sure about the golf club comments either... I don't play golf, and can't afford Oakleys! I'm just an honest, hard working person. The stolen items were inherited by us recently, and have much sentimental value. Obviously, I can just go buy another one for less money than the reward amount, but I would rather have THAT one back.

That would be one interesting reality show... Wait! Didn't we used to have an island like that? I believe they called it Alcatraz.

It was a Canon Rebel XSi with a silver body. I wouldn't think there would be that many of these around here. Lost several lenses and other accessories with it.

I hope you find your camera and people are held accountable for their actions. I feel like you it's most likely someone using drugs that stole it. It's worse when it's sentimental, I'm still hoping I'll recover my items as well. The theives or people buying stolen merchandise don't care to respond on here even if you mean well.

Check the local pawn shops. My daughters apt was broken into last year and electronics were stolen. Wfpd came out looked and wrote a report. I drove three blocks to the pawn shop and recovered items stolen. Also got my money back from the thief that I had to spend to get it back. My advice....be your own investigator. Start with where it was taken from and think if there might have been a video camera around. Maybe someone who might have seen something. Don't just give up because I'm sure its around here. Yard sales even. Ya never know. Good luck
