She deserved it. She had been relentlessly tormenting the 15 yr. old. Sometimes kids have to defend themselves otherwise the bullying never stops. The older girl had been going to games for years calling the cheerleaders names and bullying them, even calling the girl's mom names. Like Kmart employee said, the coach was not present. The have banned the older girl from attending the games and also Homecoming.

I know the 15 & 19 year old girl both very well, the younger girl is NEVER one to get in drama, trouble and for sure ever get in fights. So obviously the younger girl had enough and in my opinion the older girl deserved it. I know that the older has bullied more than one person in her highschool career and now shes in college still doing it! Finally someone stood up to her.

Just so u all know, I work at kmart. This happened a lil after 10 on the north east side of the lot. I was parked near there and when going to my car saw the fight go down. NO adults were there and it was a 19 yr old college student picking on a 15 year old girl. I am glad she stood up for herself to that bully!!!!!! Her mom and cheer coach came after the girl left.
how do you know their ages? did you check their ID's or what?

I was there. Taylor had been harassing Alana for months now. Taylor was drunk and told Alana to come fight her. There was nothing else Alana could do, this was literally the only solution. They tried talking it out with Taylor and Taylor kept on. She deserved every bit of what she got and I'm so proud of Alana for sticking up for herself. Also, Alana got benched for 2 games. So don't go saying she went without a punishment. There was nothing the school could really do considering it happened off of property. Get the facts straight. Crissy and Amy got to Kmart AFTER the fight to make sure everyone was okay. You are all a bunch of narrow minded idiots.

sounds to me like she did set an example a child is bullied no matter if you are a cheerleader a football player or a "nerd". Standing up for yourself doesnt make you a rebel...just helps you maintain pride and dignity that a bully tries to take away.

to whoever you are, you are completely right. I think mainly all of us are proud of aland for standing up for herself, not only that and for showing others that bullies will be bullies but there is a way to stop it. Fighting might not always be the answer, but in this case I doubt Taylor will be bullying anyone, especially Alana

A 19 year old is an adult. Should have had her arrested and the question still remains was it Hali or who?

I didn't care if she got kicked off, I just know in WF different rules apply to different people. I figured this would be the case also. I believe that a person has to fight or the bully will always bother them. Just the schools around here don't feel the same way. In some area schools, it doesn't matter if you are in school or out, you are setting an example for what ever sport you are in.

Rains was one of them. If there were all these adults there, why didn't someone step in? and all of a sudden the parents show up, after 10:00? Nah, they had no clue. Geez.
