Dennis Beard's widow believes Michael Jeters is in jail, as he should be, but I read in another news article that he is still free. If he had been a minority, I truly believe he would have spent these 3 1/2 months behind bars. He killed someone with his poor choices, his horrible behavior. This case will show many highway workers and their families how the law punishes drivers who hurt or kill workers who put their life in danger to better our world. Please put pressure on the courts to followthrough with swift and real punishment for his careless crime. He must pay for killing a families' precious loved one. Highway workers everywhere need to see justice done now, so they can trust us in the future. Please do all you can to keep the right attention given to this case.
