What do you propose to do instead?
I've got enough money to weather this (I hope!) if the banks don't fail and them refuse to honor FDIC deposits, but I'm guessing most people don't.
If something isn't done to stimulate the economy, there are going to be some serious suffering.

You are 100% correct......Nothing like a Blind Sheep tofollow their 'Leader'.......'Leader' into what? Lets Print some more money, with no backing / reserves and just start handing it out. This should fix all our problems.

So far, it is nice to have a president who is articulate and has the fortitude to try something besides the same thing we tried the last 8 years that got us nowhere. I don't know whether he will be successful in reaching his goals but I am willing to let him try.
