I also consider Ferriday to be home even though I moved from there several years ago. It seems that every time I get that way, it s worse that the time before. I still have several good friends there and wonderful (and sometime sad) memories of my home. I wish that the city officials would open their eyes and take a good look. It has truly become a dying town.
