The politics in Avoyelles Parish is so corrupt it is unbelievable. Good luck to anyone that needs the system and doesn't have political pull. You can't really understand how corrupt it is until you see it in action, in the courtroom and behind closed doors. If Judge Mark Jeansonne gives Joe Plauche the maximun sentence, you can believe politics and election year are behind this. Wake up Avoyelles! I and many of my friends are waiting for the judgement........we will unconditionally vote for Kerry Sprull if the maximum sentence is given. Do not congratulate Charles Riddle for the conviction. Mike Kelly did all the work and seems to be a better lawyer by a landslide. God bless the politicians of Avoyelles. You will need help to get to heaven!!

I spent time with joe right before he went to his last trial hearing- he was positive- asking about his friends and never once asked for anyone to help but let justice do its job. He cared so much for margaret and the children that I think that was killing him more than anything- In my respect- he and his family are great people and have done nothing other than stand by their own. No one knows how he felt and that does not give justice to act in the way he did- but before you beat his name- how many people have taken the time to sit with him and truly listen to his story and see his emotions- it might make you take a second look-

who are you all kidding; I saw Joe and saw NO REMORSE!! Acted like jail was just another walk in the park!! But then why not!! He has the $$$$$ to take a hike!! And besides, lets think about this..if I wanted to leave my husband for another man, and my husband wanted to kill himself, do you think I would try to "save" him? Hell no!! So, he shoots her once then shoots himself twice. She dies from one shot and he still lives after two shots!! My, should be a movie!! I feel sorry for Margaret and Jay because at least THEY had found what they were looking for!! Now Jay has lost again; What about all the other women were fortunate to live after being with Joe? Wonder why he didnt kill them; maybe he didnt want to tarnish his good name

Joe had Bill Belt on his side and protecting him and he was showing no remorse at that time.

Why do you think they call Avoylles Parrish "The Free State Of Avoylles?" Is Bill Belt still sheriff there ? I can't believe that. Used to live there.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Aquarius

Keep calm and all will be well. You're feeling slightly fraught because there are so many demands on your time, and it won't help if you're trying to juggle some last-minute chores with some fun-filled social events. Get others to lend you a hand, or tell yourself that perfection is not an option right now and that you'll have to scale down your preparations accordingly.
