I cant believe there was a bomb threat at school today. We got out early but I honestly don't suspect there actually is or was a bomb. I dont believe anyone in the school would have the knowledge of how to obtain a bomb. I sure its just a prank.

I remember when I was in ninth grade and we had the bomb threats at our schools. This is a serious thing, and should never be taken lightly. To the students in the school it can be a scary thing.

<quoted text> Hey Tim those people aren't like that. You need to get a serious reality check if you think that is the status quo in the Catholic community

Really - take a look at the report. The threatening notes were found on Monday - WAY before the game was ever played. Leave it to a person from the east side of town to make a comment like that.

This school is on the road to ruin. Last year they had a sexual predator as a teacher, this year a bomb threat, and they've gone through 4 deans of students in like, 6 years. Just sucks that the students have to suffer from it.

I go to school far away from here. I had a bomb threat in my school last year. It turned out to be a harmless prank. We had the police everywhere and were stuck under lock down. I was honestly scared. I wish they would have dismissed us. Smart move by DCHS!!

the teacher was not a sexual predator! technically, she is a registered sex offender..but, if he was not a student and she was not a teacher it would have been legal. 4 deans? how is that "on the road to ruin"? people like change. and the bomb threat is really not that big of a deal! if you really are a former dchs student, you should be talking about your school with respect hah. dowling is the best school in the state(academics, sports, everything haha)!!

Too bad when it happened in Waukee that the administration handled it so poorly!!! The person that got blamed for making the threats didn't do it, and the person that actually made the threats, got away with it......

Lets stop making assumptions of who did it and let the police and school handle it. We don't need more hatred among the schools. I just hope they publish to the world the charges the person will face to deter others from doing the same thing.

People need to stop blaming Valley for this. I have friends that go there. Dowling rocks and everything. We have great teachers, students, academics, and sports, but that doesn't mean we are all perfect. Someone was just pulling an stupid prank. It should be taken seriously, but not to the extent that people start being rude to other peple and blaming them for it without actual facts.
