Gov. Branstad - I am almost physically sick that you won... You have plans to tear apart more of DSSI and Medicare and we people that are disabled and the elderly can hardly live now with the Federal government saying their was no cost of living increases so we do not neet the increase in our checks... We paid into this fund so that we would have something to live on if needed and I have read over and over if you were elected that you are going to try and take even more from us... Well I want to be the first on or if not the first one small person who was hit by a drunk driver 9 years ago, my husband divorced me because he didn't sign up to be married to a handicapped person and can hardly make it to even eat properly that you will be taking from with the programs that you are planning on cutting.... Seriously Gov. Branstad we have had our small amounts of money and programs cut enough - PLEASE STOP - I will be homeless if you do not and so will many others. I beg this of you to revise what you are planning on doing to us and find the money from somewhere else. You do this because you think we are weak and old and will not make a fuss but in all the pain I am in I will fight til the end to get your attention on what you are doing is wrong.... Please listen and help the disabled and elderly not hurt.

If you want something from someone, it's not in your best intrest to start out by telling that person, you are "physicaly sick they won". The man was elected less than 24hrs ago, he hasn't done ANYTHING! Why don't you shut up and go back to bed. Your mouth needs a rest!

I voted for the "Big Lug" but I'm OK with Terry. He knows how the game is played and the gimmie people will think he is unfair as with the "physically sick person," who may also have psychological problems as well. It is not the end of the world when a person wins a four year term as Governor. I'll help where I can.

Welcome back Mr Branstad. I hope you do as well as you did in the four terms you held the office before.
