1 dead, 1 wounded in West Covina shooting

One person was killed and another wounded when a shooting broke out Tuesday night.

there was a man seen running from the scene after the shots were fired. he was looking behind him suspiciously, and tucked an object into his pants while strutting down EAST idahome st... across the street from lark ellen..

It's really sad that the young lady lost her life because she chose to associate with losers. The owner of the property allows her son to deal drugs from the house and look like a typical hoodlum, bald with baggy pants. I'm surprised this hasn't happened sooner. The people who live in that house are withholding information about the shooting. They know exactly who was responsible and why it happened! You're not welcomed in our neighborhood.

Yes, this was NOT a random shooting and I feel sad for that young girls family who will soon be getting a call from the police to identify their daughter/sister/niece/grandaug hter's body!!
Everyone in that house does a GREAT job of acting dumb about what really goes on at that house, acting dumb is not a far stretch to those people!!

I trust that you have called the West Covina PD Detective Bureau and shared this information with them. They need to talk to you about your observations. Is there anything else that you saw that may be of great importance to their case? Be a good citizen and do what is right.

West Covina went downhill about ten years ago. When I moved to West Covina 30 years ago it was a beautiful place to raise a family. The city has been over run,and after years of hearing gun shots, and gang banging and tagging, I decided to move east where it is much safer, much brighter!!

We have family members that have lived in that neighborhood for over 20 years and they have reported it, the other surrounding neighbors have reported it and they even brought it to the owners attentions( It's a trented home) no one craes.Hammering away at 11PM at night is not normal, one car pulls out another pulls right in. It was just too odd. But again the West Covina PD has nothing better to do then pig out at IN-N-Out.

Just another typical judgemental Asshole! Judging people by how they dress is just an ignorant way of living. Get a life. Where you in that house? NO! So don't run your mouth about saying, "They know exactly who is responsible and why it happened." The people that live in that house are not to blame, so point your fingers at the shooter not the victims. The victims that were shot, were giving a chance to stay live there so they are the ones that brought this to your neighborhood, not the son or house owner.

Exactly! There's so much crime going on in the OC but the media hardly covers it, but you don't hear peole talking down to the "whites." Ignorance is a result of people not being educated..
