Mr. Castro is your man. He is smart, well liked by fellow staff and professional in all regards.
This is the classic case of the best man already being in the Department.....hopefully he will be selected.

Look out side the box, never know how deep the river runs through the system!

Bell should be a fine example!

To much insider trading has gone on in the past, time to clean house and look else where!

If he pass a lie detector test, then maybe he could apply with all the others who have also passed their test.

Explain yourself. Last time Glendora hired a Chief from within the organization was 1968.

You'll see soon enough!

Naughty boys and girls inside have made a great big mess to be cleaned up, very soon!

Read the news after the Glendora City Attorney has a chance to reply to legal papers, he has received already!

Why do you think the old one is leaving?

There have been two political groups fighting each other in Glendora for the last ten years. The group which is currently not in power, has obviously had issues with city hall.

However, both sides have publicly expressed their great satisfaction with the police department. Over the years, the police department has stayed just done what they do best--keep Glendora safe by having a professional police department. By the very nature of police work, not every contact with the police department can be positive. However, the men and women of Glendora PD treat the public with respect and do an excellent job.

If you talk to anyone in the police department, one of the primary person's responsible for this is Capt. Rob Castro. He is a true professional who cares about people and doing the right thing.

Robert Castro is the person for the job as Chief. He has been out in the community doing what is right and he cares about making Glendora the best it can be. The safety and low crime rate in Glendora are becase of his leadership and honest work.

The only guy you see posting stupidity here is obviously Mark Smith. Rob will make an excellent chief and if not here it will be somewhere else and Glendora's loss.

Captain Rob Castro is the obvious choice for chief. He was born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley. He is a Bishop Amat grad, who also earned both his bachelors and masters degree. He started his career in law enforcement as a cadet with the Glendora Police Department, rising to the rank of captain by the age of forty (a phenomenal feat in this profession). He is well liked and respected both within and outside of the police department. He is an active member of our local community.

I like the idea of having a distance limit on potential hires. I would wish that more cities would hire their city staff as locally as possible taking talent into consideration.

You don't take a poly to move from one rank to another, of course you being the biggest joke in town and with no knowledge of the inner functions of any pd wouldn't have aclue to the testing process.

Go get another pony ride from Eddie in the Bushes, ok Markie Boy?

I like the idea of looking outside the city limits for there potential hires.

I would wish that more cities would consider adding new and fresh blood an talent into there replacement consideration.

Pulling from the same well will only get you troubles, thats why Glendora has huge troubles with it's City Hall and City Council members.

So you think council members should come from cities other than the ones they live in? You are truly retarded mark. Go run for council in Baker, you'll fit right in Kitty.
