jafari callaham was the one who stabbed mr williams. I have called and spoke with the fairfield county police and jail. callaham was the one who had the knife and admits to stabbing mr williams. wilkerson may have been involved but he did not murder anyone with the knife. Wilkerson was caught in the wrong place at the wrong time and was with the wrong company.
For this comment you have no business even saying anything in here..WE as concerned friends and citzens are here to send are condolences to the family that suffered this horrific loss..As for Wilkerson he should be buried underneath the prison! Tax payers money shouldnt be used to keep you alive in prison I hope your sentenced to the death penalty!

I believe in an eye for an eye! I hope these two losers get the chair for taking the life of a good and honest man! This Compatriot now rides with Jackson in that land beyond the clouds.

I did not know Perry very well. A recent conversation with him made me want to know him better. He was someone you just knew was a good person. I could see he had a love for life and people. He was a very happy person though dealing with his own tragedies. It is such a sad thing. I think it is far too early in the grieving process to consider forgiveness, shame on those who suggest it. Have you ever dealt with a violent crime in your own family?
I never stated when they should forgive, but if you do not learn to forgive (over time I should say) than you will never move on with your own life! You don't worry about what I have been through in my life! I was not insulting the family by any means!

as being the daughter of perry williams i want to thank all those who have prayed and supported me and my family since this horrific ordeal. These two men robbed me of my father, who was the only parent i had left. I have no mother or brother as they passed on. As I saw these two men at their first court appearance on Monday 4-23-07 they showed no remorse, no expression, not anything but guilt. I took a deep breath staring at their hands knowing the knife that killed my father was in the hands of them. The more breaths I took, the more my heart raced and I could visually see them stabbing him over and over. That is what i see everday since this has happened! My youngest child cannot sleep alone, he is having nightmares! He stood by the casket for 45 minutes just staring at my dad. He too has lost his grandfather and best friend. The man, who to him, was like his father. All taken away by two men with no regard to human life...by two men who have selfish values....by two men who took away my family foundation with no remorse....by two men who will get the death penalty as I will never stop pushing for this...i made a promise to my dead father, mother, and brother that I will push this to the max......I AM READY!

I knew Danny from Carolina
Children's HOME where his dad was the coach. I am very shocked to hear about his life of crime and where he has ended up. My heart goes out to his Dad (who was a great coach) and to the victim's families.

Not a day goes bye that i dont think about what could have been if he was still here. I think about my poppa everyday and the good times we had together. He filled a void in my heart that no one else could. He was not only my grandfather, but my best friend. 5 years have passed, but it still seems like just yesterday that my mom came running into my room in tears to tell me that my poppa had been murdered. I didnt know what to think being only 14 at the time. I instantly fell to the ground. No words could and still cant explain how i felt at the time. My world had been turned upside down in a matter of 3 seconds. The scary thought is, my poppa called me the day before the murder to ask me to go to work with him that day. Thankfully my mom told me no because she didnt want me missing school. It makes me think though, what if? What if i would have been there that day? Could i have saved my defenseless grandfather who was stuggling for his last breath? If i went, would i still be here today? These are just a couple things that run through my mind each and everyday, and always will. These 2 heartless, cold, sadistic, bastards will never understand what they took from me that day. I will never be able to go fishing at the lake with my poppa. I will never be able to sit with him on sunday afternoons in the deer stand. I will never get to take our trips to charleston, or edisto with him again. But most of all, i will never get to hear his voice again. I have to live with this the rest of my life. These 2 men are faced to live with the fact that they are responsible for taking this away from me. I pray that everynight Danny Lee Wilkerson lays his twisted, sick head on the floor off his prison cell he hears my poppa's screams for help. As for Jafari Callaham who committed suicide because he wasnt man enough to live the sick life he made for himself, i hope hes burning in hell as i type this. He was man enough to take my grandfathers life though right? He may have not gotten exactly what he deserved....but he is paying for it in hell. In 12 years, Danny Lee Wilkerson who recieved a 17 year sentence will be released. All i have to say for him is..may god be with you, you pathetic low life piece of trash. No matter what anyone has to say, i will never forgive someone who pre meditated the murder of my best friend/father figure/role model/inspiration/poppa. R.I.P Poppa. Gone but never forgotten.

I'm not saying they don't deserve punishment a great man's life was taken which is a tragedy but people do not need to comment degrading things when they don't know the facts or what actually happened and not only should they have been punished but so should Lee's sister for being a part of it but nobody knows what really happened that day but everyone has a comment to make i know he was a great man my brother always said he was truly a tragedy i hate how everyone is defending Lee when Lee was just as guilty
