So cause Wanda Sucks at her job. We now get drilled with taxes. I better not see another pot hole in this County ever again, and we better see all these roads that are causing damage to these vehicles paved. The sooner the better.

Wonder if she requested the tax raise so she could get more in her pockets. I don't see our roads getting any better while she's out there. Need someone out there who knows what they are doing.

Jimmy, tell us what you really think! lol Dude, you are so funny!

Poor Wanda! From what I read on here, she has plowed all the snow in Union County all by herself in the winter, and now she has to fix the roads in the summer. What a woman! Not to mention the fact that she has a great social life and she needs ecorts! She must be one organized, multitasking woman! Hey, I'm a fan!

I do not agree with the new, higher road tax, not at all. IF, you want to get some of your money back, DO NOT BUY GAS IN LIBERTY, PERIOD. That will be less road use tax, that Union County gets, and you will save YOU money, since Connersville was almost 20 cents a gallon cheaper, at Swifty, if you paid cash, yesterday.

It seems like there is to much incompetence, in the Commissioners, and Highway Department, and a total lack of planning, or looking into the future.

Another thing that I heard was that all wheel tax in the state of Indiana will also be going up.So it sounds like the big man in Indianapolis has alot to do with it also. But still we have alot of pot holes in our county that needs to be fixed. But will we ever see them fixed. I doubt it.

Buying gas elsewhere has nothing to do with it. You register your vehicles in the county has alot to do with it.

Everyone cries about taxes, they want things done, but aren't willing to do anything about it. Look at all the worthless shi* people spend money on, and you are going to cry about a small tax. What pisses me off is all the people in this country looking for an undue handout or a free ride. A small tax increase isn't going to break anyone. We should commend the people that serve our community and do a better job at critizing those who are a drain on our society.

I agree! Anyone on welfare for more than a year is a loser! Get a job! Cashing a welfare check and spending food stamps is not a job, it's a handout to get you back on your feet. Ten times they money is spent in this county to let freeloaders live for free than is going to be collected with this tax. If you want to be mad about something, look to the real "Drain" on society. Go to any of the welfare housing government assisted apartment buildings in this town. Those people eat better and live better than most of us paying the taxes. With all the handouts they get plus 3 to 5 child support check from the "fathers," along with the money they make selling drugs, they recieve more money a year than you do. Get mad about that! Twenty five dollar wheel tax....so what. The welfare people will spend that much of your money this week buying cigerettes.

I just love all of the clueless marks I got on this, it is a real shame that people do not know, that the county you buy the gas in, gets the use tax, and I am the clueless one. Lol!!!

What I am saying, is, you will save money, by buying gas elsewhere, look at the prices in Oxford, or Connersville, versus Liberty, that alone, is an automatic savings, add the loss of county use taxes, since you bought it elsewhere, and you save even more money. DO NOT BUY GAS IN LIBERTY, PERIOD

That has nothing more, than the use tax, to do with it, try reading the fuel tax laws. You will, pay Union County, more money, when you buy the plate, but every gallon that you purchase elsewhere, will benefit THAT locality, not Union County

You do not know what you are talking about. The state sends the money on fuel tax based upon population. True if you buy it in Ohio the state of Indiana will not get any fuel tax, but you are only hurting the state and county. This will then give you less services.

Come on, Shibe. The scary thing is you actually believe what you are saying. If you drive to oxford to save 10 cents a gallon, you will save $1.50 for a fifteen gallon fill up. Even if your car gets 30 miles to the gallon, you will use a gallon of gas to drive to oxford and back. A gallon of gas is $3. You lose $1.50 but you still get to feel like a prick because Liberty doesn't get your tax. Now, if everyone in Liberty that wants to be a prick like you drives to Oxford and wastes $1.50 just to screw the county out of tax, then the county will make up for it by raising your property tax or some other tax. You are still a loser and you waste the time driving to Oxford and back.

Here's an idea Shibe. Ride a bicycle. And if your tires ever need any air, peddle to the next town over so that Union County doesn't see any tax from your quarter at the air pump. =) ha.
