They are the worst bank I've ever done business with. They steal from the elderly and charge enormous fees. They hold back deposits to cause overdrafts which result in more fees. Why do they get away with this crap?

IF true, QUIT doing business with them! DUH!!!
Any company that loses customers will respond to that loss.

NUT SACK? Intelligent words there. Are you sure that you have friends? I mean truly friends, not just aquaintances. Because I wouldn't have such mean mouthed, low IQ friends as you would seem to be.

I hurled NO Insult, I called no names.
I am more mature than that, I have a better IQ & a better vocabulary than that. Let alone having more respect for others in general.

While yelling and screaming can raise ones blood pressure, why not just save yourselves a doctors visit and, be kind to one another.

"Stewie", As a share holder of Fifth Third Bank let me say congratulations to you for leaving -- we are glad to see you go.

You need to find you another bank to b*tch and whine about. Having complainers like you making up BS about our great bank isn't good for our public image.

Good bye, Good riddance, and don't let the door hit you in the hiney on the way out.

A friends mother who suffered Alzheimer's a few years ago had a small savings account that was forgotten. The bank started charging a service charge for a few years to the point it went in the red, then before the lady died she actually "owed" the bank almost $200. And as a share holder you say don't let the door hit you and the ass? Kiss my ass you fool.

And I know this is true because you say it. No one would lie on the internet.

When the account reached a zero balance there would cease to be an account to charge fees against moron.

Why did your "friend" not get a power of attorney and look out for his mother's business?

You are full of BS Stewie. Banks are strictly regulated by the US government.

They balance their books daily -- they must be in balance -- will search for hours to get in balance if the books are out.

Banks don't steal people's money. Banks don't hold back deposits. Stupid people who don't properly maintain their checkbook overdraw
and then blame the bank.

As I said before Stewie , not just Fifth Third, but any bank is thrilled to see "good customers" like you (the habitual whiners and complainers) take their business elsewhere.

Did anyone besides me notice the Stewie Griffin and "Just Sayin" were both posting from New Orleans La -- from the same keyboard no doubt.

Nice try Dipwad, but we're wise to you.

The postings from New Orleans is a little suspect, but the fact remains that Fifth Third bank has some very brutal business tactics, proof in the class action lawsuits brought against them. I have personally witnessed many of these unethical dealings with friends and family. "One of the owners" apparently has a biased stance on the subject. Topix gives the consumer a voice and that should be a good thing. Maybe "owner" should sell.

Yes "mtkjim" Topix does give the consumer, or anyone else a forum from which to say anything, true or not true, about anyone.

Most folks, however, don't take opinions expressed on a gossip site like Topix very seriously.

My Fifth Third stock has performed well for me. I think I'll hang on to it.
