It is of coarse a Catholic School..and its employee's should reflect the values the parents send their children there to enculcate.

A diversity cordinaor at a public college was recently fired (and then rehired)for hr views on marriage.

At the end of the day ths fellow will robably ust be admonished.

Are you serious? Do you really think the Roman Catholic Church has any intent to forgive and forget? Are those drugs you take available legally?

"I put it up there because I really truly honestly believe it," he said. "I'm absolutely willing to lose my job over this. The only difficult thing for me now is the students."

Let's hope his next job is at a school where honesty is not grounds for termination.

whoever judged your post as nuts etc is likely a Catholic hater because you are correct in as much he was espousing PUBLICLY, his personal views that happen to be 180 degrees out from what he was to present. He should have simply left his position & sought another.
IF I were to work for Ford sales but went around publicly stating that Toyota was better, would Ford keep me as a salesperson? Of course not! I personally drive a Toyota but I wouldn't be risking my paycheck.

The analogy is clumsy, at best. But it does illustrate why Fitz was completely wrong. The principal has lost his job. And the right-wing Christians will cheer, even as they caterwaul over the diversity liaison who kept her job for expressing anti-equality views.

Kind of takes the wind out of the sails of Maggie Gallagher's constant "victim" whining, doesn't it?

It really is that simple.

His 'personal' life should be kept separate, unless of course he crosses the line in his professional life....
