Oh my God!!! I know that gay vet! He came to speak at my college's GSA a few weeks ago. He's so dedicated to the cause. A hero in every sense of the word.

Good job Sean...thank you for dragging into the light what we already knew and suspected, Boehner is a liar and a politician of the worst kind.

Quoth the Weepy Tan Man:

"It is regrettable that the Obama Administration has opened this divisive issue at a time when Americans want their leaders to focus on jobs and the challenges facing our economy."

Sorry, hon. That boat sailed when the Republicans imposed this dubiously constitutional law in 1996.

These constituents should begin a petition to Recall Mr. Boner. He has obviously decided not to represent his constituents.

Representative Mr. Speaker John Boehner (that's pronounced BO - NER) represents only his own bias and ignorance, and speaks only for himself and his neoconservative prejudice.

He has no respect for the people who are his constituents, no respect for the U.S. Constitution, no respect for the President of the United States, and no respect for U.S. Veterans.

He doesn't care about the unemployed, he has no sympathy for the American people who are being crushed by outrageous taxes and wasteful government spending. It doesn't matter to him that hundreds of thousands of Americans have lost their homes, or have become enslaved to credit card companies who are allowed to charge usurous interest rates and exhorbitant fees.

Why should he care? He'll always be taken care of by big corporate money and organized religious money and special interest money and oil company money that installed him into office. He'll always have excellent health coverage. He'll always have a roof over his head and expensive food on the table. He'll always be able to do whatever he wants while he continues to support repression of the LBGT community, the poor, the disenfranchised, and the politically powerless.

Bravo, Mr. Speaker. Will it be lobster or steak for lunch?

boehner won his seat last election by a substantial margin, but there were only 202K total votes in his race. How could this be representative government if he won't care to see what 33K of his constituents think? Well, it's only 16% of the vote total, if he can refuse first amendment rights to 16%, what chance do homosexuals have at 8-10% of his constituents? I hope to see much more attention paid to the cost of fighting for bigotry. 50 million possibly to be spent. Lets see what kind of savings are expected from the budget cuts offered by boehner:

"Budget cuts is the mantra of new House Republicans. The House GOP leadership initially promised to cut at least $100 million in government spending in their new bill. After taking a look at things, they revised that number to $60 million"

Oh look, they will still save 10 million after the added costs.

Boehner seems to be under the delusion that the congressional office in West Chester is his private property and not that of the citizens of the United States. I hope the courts find both the congressman and the local police to be in violation of the first amendment as well as any statutes applying to the illega taking of federally owned property.

While I sympathize, having endured the Gray Davis recall effort --- and the subsequent Arnold Schwarzenegger fiasco --- I am reluctant to play the recall card. Such efforts may only open the door to an even more egregious candidate.

Boehner is a Catholic puppet and is obviously prejudiced towards Gays/Lesbians because his Nazi pope says so. His religion dictates his decisions and doesn’t want to separate religion and government. Boehner’s ultimate America is theocratic, but that will never happen thank goodness. I live in Ohio and that man is an embarrassment to our country.

There is no recall for members of congress. The only option is to focus mega resources to defeat him in the next election.
