I've been hearing about incidents at DD where workers are putting things in the coffees if you don't tip them enough. If it happens to you, report it right away.

To the people working at DD I say: if the job doesn't pay enough, get a better paying job, and to company: pay your employees more. Tipping was never meant for fast food businesses, It's only coffee for god sakes! They pour coffee into a cup and you hand them money, they give you you change! Why would you tip for that? Out of pity? Then rename it !: " Donations to the unfortunate morons that don't have an education, and consequently have to work at DD!"

So after they give you your coffee, you dont tip them, then they take your coffee back, spit in it and then return it to you?
All of the DDs I go to in central MA give you your order then charge you. Heck %99 of DDs have signs that say "tips not accepted".
Stop spreading unfounded rumors.

Most people go to the same DD everyday, on their way to work. The Customers who don't tip well will be known to the DD staff. And, yes, I have had a similar experience at DD as Janet did. And, I know other who had the same experience as well. I don't think DD pays very well. DD is a corporation, and maximize their profits, and treat the employees poorly. AND YES, THEY DO HAVE TIP JARS ON THE COUNTER BY THE CASH REGISTER. TO SAY THAT THEY DONT, IS COMPETLEY STUPID, MAYBE YOU SHOULD TAKE YOUR OWN ADVICE, AND THINK BEFORE YOU POST, YOU MORON. YOU CAN VERIFY THIS BY ACTUALLY GOING INO A DD, WHICH YOU OBVIOUSLY HAVE NOT!!!

I don't go to DD, I make my own at home, and bring it to work. A friend of mine used to work at Dunkin Donuts, and said they don't wash the place was filthy dirty in the kitchen area. Half of them are run by middle eastern employees who don't know about cleanliness.

Seems there is differences in franchise rules. All DDs in Auburn, Charlton, Webster, Oxford, Dudley, Sutton, Douglas and Thompson CT (pretty much all of Southern Worc county) DO NOT accept tips. Maybe you should call the owners and let them know how "STUPID" they are. Sorry, but calling me a moron while I'm actually right in the 6 surrounding towns near where I live doesnt reflect very well on your judgement of the facts. Seems like those "STUPID MORONS" who own those franchises are a little smarter than you as this is a possible way to avoid the workers "tip revenge". Seems Im not such a "STUPID MORON" after all huh?

This forum is Worcester, Not Thompson ct. Check the forum your in before posting. So, I stand by my statement, you are a stupid moron. I.e., a moron, that other morons would call stupid. I.e., in a world of morons, you'd be in the remedial class. If they don't allow tips in Thompson, CT, then I applaud the action, and would hope that they mandate this rule to ALL franchises everywhere.

So lemme guess, you picked Thompson CT, and ignored the other 7 towns who are within 10 minutes of the city limits and Im a moron huh (not to mention Auburn borders Worc for miles and miles)? You telling me that every single DD in Worc has a tip jar? Not one of them doesn't accept tips? Are you sure? I got news for ya, there are multiple DDs in Worc that dont accept tips.--------- I suppose that only people from Worc should be able to post in the Worc section right? Because after all, Worc is all that matter right? Nobody from any neighboring towns ever comes into the city. Nobody from the city ever travels outside of the city lines right? Good call Rob. remember this, he who posts personal insults on internet forums, has nothing intelligent to say. Think about it.

You made it personal when you attacked me. I only respond in defense, when ignorant retards don't know what they're talking about.

All the DD I've gone to in Massachusetts have tip jars. And when they hand you your change, they watch to see what you do with the change. (Whether you drop it in the jar or not. I cant afford to drop 3 quarters in the tip jar, because I need the quarters for laundry. I think its rude of them to watch you when they hand you change. ITS YOUR MONEY. I Agree with Robert. If the girl wants to do something Extra, to earn a tip, then ill leave a quarter.

This was your first in the forum. It attacked me. Janet posted first. Then I. You followed up in third with the attack. So how could I have addressed you if you where never in the thread? Unless you post under multiple names and "Janet" was just the kind of mood you where in right?

I agree with Robert and Janet, you are an Idiot (Think Before Post). Apparently The majority of people agree with us, judging from the "Judgments". If you don't have anything of value to add, why not go back to school, and maybe get an education, then maybe you'll be ready to add something useful to the conversation.(You don't even take your own advice, and "Think before you post", you don't even post in the correct forum. DUH!!

I've had the same experience At a dunkin doughnuts . I'm not going there anymore, and I reported it. There is a website, and a number you can call.

Don't just tell the store manager, because nothing will happen. The store managers encourage the behavior.

Starbucks is good if you like strong coffee, maybe strong isn't the right word, robust describes their coffee better. There are two in Worcester that I know of, one in Westboro and at least one in Marlboro. Panera Bread is good too, I sometimes go to the one in Shrewsbury.

Dunkin donuts coffee tastes watery to me. Doesn't have a good taste. I like Starbucks, but I've been making it at home, because I think people are right about incidents at the fast food places, not just DD. The restaurants aren't doing good in this economy, and I think they sell out of date food, that should have been thrown out.

It's not really good tasting, but it's quick, but, if there is a Starbucks nearby, I will go there.

Dunkin donuts coffee doesn't appeal to me. I think it tastes different than it used to. I make my own, I like it better . I have an espresso maker, and it's great. Wakes me up , and saves me time.
