Tree company owner charged with taking potentially infested logs
Criminal complaints were issued today charging the owner of a Grafton tree company with violating the Asian longhorned beetle quarantine by moving logs out of the regulated area.

Skyhook Tree Co. trimmed a tree in my yard in spring of 2008. I found the company to be very professional and very respectful. After the job was done I allowed them to post their sign in front of my house to help them with their business.
In the summer of 2008, I received a recording about the longhorn beetle. The job was already completed.
The sign still remained posted until November of 2008.
I do believe that Skyhook Tree Co. did not intentionally break the law. I think that this matter was mistakenly overlooked and that Skyhook
was working to please their customers. The job was suppose to be done in November of 2007 but due to the weather had to be canceled a few times.
Otherwise, they never would have posted a sign.
