I was stuck in the long wait for two hours. I believe that Cal Trans should have posted warnings in Bishop to let people know about the long wait. We had to wait for them to bring in heavy equipment to move the sand and dirt.

You should be thankful that you didn't live in one of the 50 houses that has 3 feet of mud in it. I find it hard to believe that someone would complain about being stuck for 2 hours when people lost everything they owned.....what a shallow self centered person you must be

I was wondering about the Mt. Whitney Fish Hatchery. Was there any damage? Any pictures? That was a favorite stopping spot for a picnic on our trips to the High Sierras and home again.

The main building is fine but the fish corals and the pond have mud in them. (Fish are dead). Also the County told them that they are not responsible for cleaning up private property just thier land. They seem to be hanging the residents out to dry.

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Taurus

There's a certain amount of friction between you and your partner today. This could be really exciting and dynamic, spurring you into fresh adventures together, or it might lead to spats that seem to get more petty as the day wears on. So resist the temptation to get drawn into silly squabbles and instead express today's energy in more positive ways.
