My wife Lori worked as a captain for Jim for 15 seasons. He used to laugh about the crap he heard from not only customers but some people in the industry for having a female captain. One thing for sure, Jim always had her back. He went as far as getting into verbal altercations with anyone who tried to degrade or abuse any of his crew, including her. He told them that if she wasn't cutting it as a captain she would not have worked for him for so many years. Lori and I will miss him greatly. He was very good to both of us.
