Good for Bill Cook. He has done all of us a great service by preserving this structure for another hundred years. Well done and thank you Mr. Cook.

The new racinos will doom this area big time - Area is too remote for affluent City residents. It will go gang busters for a year than kiss it goodbye.

Convert it into a wal mart - That is were those po white local folks shop - The little town centers down there are all vacant since the Wal Mart in Paoli and jasper opened. The big thing is walmart on saturday night after the buffet at KFC.

We toured it while it was under renovations. It is breathtaking. Can't wait to spend the night there. Wonder if it is haunted??

We need a passenger train that goes from Indy through French Lick and then down to the casinos on the Ohio River. I think that would go a long way toward French Lick renovations being a success. There are a lot of elderly folks who love to gamble, and if they didn't have to drive, I think they would visit French Lick more often. There is already a train station there next to the French Lick Springs hotel.

West Baden Springs and French Lick are going to have to team up and spend mega bucks for some high powered advertising.

Don't be a hater dude. Besides, our heavenly Father likes ladies with mustaches. Just look at the Jewish women.

I find it interesting that someone who does not know when to use "then" instead of "than" is now an economics major who can prognosticate the future of this area.

The fact of the matter is that anyone who plans to go to the "Racinos" instead of the FrenchLick or West Baden Hotel most likely do not have the money to stay in the two hotels anyway. The real gamblers play table games which they will not have at the racinos.

Visitors will also go to these two historic landmarks BECAUSE they are out of the way. It is a true get away with 3 golf courses, 2 spas, horseback riding, bowling, indoor tennis, and yes a casino. One step inside that dome will be enough to bring you back again. Those who say otherwise have not stepped foot in this yet.

The farther from Indianapolis, the better. Thank you Mr. Cook. I'll be booking a get-a-way weekend soon....and light rail transportation to these two revived venues is a brilliant idea. Maybe Mr. Cook can help work on that next.

Table games do not pay the bills - Slots is were the profits are - That is why those places have thousands of slots and only 20 -30 tables - If the tables made tons of money the racinos would have asked for them instead of slots - Gomer
One step inside that dome will be enough to bring you back again - Once - Than it is old hat -

Pisces

You're in a very home loving mood today, making you reluctant to stray too far from your own front door. You want to be surrounded by your creature comforts, and preferably with lots of delicious food not far away either. If you've had lots of family squabbles in the past few days you'll enjoy this peaceful interlude even more.
