I would like photos of French Lick flooding

I remember sitting in algebra with Mr. Harris looking out toward the flooded football field. Does anyone have photos of the flooding they can send to me? I haven't been back for a visit since '99 and frankly, I miss the floods.

Yeah, I know that sounds weird, but I lived up off Washington street and could always see the kimball plant and the flooding...

That’s funny i remember Mr. Harris throwing things and people. What year did you graduate?

I didn't graduate from Valley, but I was there last in '83. I would have graduated in '86.

Mr. Harris that year broke a yard stick over someone's desk. Also, he did one of his famous go-for-broke sneezes right as Patti called up over the p.a. She had a hard time telling him what she needed for the laughing.

Yea, I graduated in 99' and she was still there when i graduated. I remember him throwing an eraser at a student for sleeping, hitting kids with rulers. The rumor was he then through him down the stairs outside his office. I think he had taken to many steroids, trying to stay fit and strike fear into his students to play sports, if you didn’t play sports you where a target. I hated his class; one would think with all the experience he would know how to teach a class. To this day I believe his class was a waste of time, and energy.

If you want any pics i can send them as well, the town is really changing with the boat and all.

I graduated in '77, Mr Harris classes were a waste of time. Like Marcus said, if you weren't in sports, you didn't get respect, or help from the coaches who TRIED to be teachers.
