Does anyone know if Chick-Fil-A is still planning on opening a location? I remember in early 2010 that they had filed some paperwork with the zoning commission and were listed in one of the "Public Hearing" files, but haven't heard any updates.

They recently broke ground at the site. Not sure when it will be completed, though.

Does anyone know that as a corporation, Chick-Fil-A is homophobic and discriminatory? I fully encourage everyone to not patronize this company.

The company isn't homophobic. They're not discriminatory. The owner has beliefs, covered by the First Amendment, and isn't afraid to admit it. He doesn't discriminate against any employees or potential customers. He's totally within his rights, as you are to be as totally close-minded as you accuse others of being. Eat Mor Chikn.

Heh, in respect to the owner having his rights to believe what he wants that is true. But if you did your research you will find that Chick-Fil-A the corporation donated money to keep gay marriage illegal in California.
And First Amendment rights only cover you from government suppression.
