I knew the young man who was killed in this tragic accident and he was neither a redneck or meth head. Shame on anyone posting comments of the like. This man has a very loving family and they are devastated! My prayers go out to the entire Dominguez family, there are simply no words to comfort you at this time. I am so very sorry for this tragedy!

This is a horrible accident! I'm tired of hearing people complain about highway closure and having no sympathy for this family! My prayers go out to my friend Jeff Dominguez and his family!

"Stumbling April" says that an accident that left a man dead was "possibly a bad accident". Gimme a break Simpson.!

Jeff was nothing but loving to anyone he ever spoke to. You people have NO SYMPATHY for anything, how dare you fuc&*(^ talk about him in that form! His family is suffering through a lot of pain at this time. It was what people call an accident and s%$# happens. So quit with your mouth on all this talk about "rednecks" and "meth heads." If you dont know him personally as I do then ^&%# off! I went to school with Jeff and have known him for awhile, such a sweet young man! My prayers go out to the Dominguez family!

Im am so sorry to hear about what has happened. My prayers go out to Jeffs family and friends. Jeff was such a great guy...Always making people laugh...I WILL be boycotting Fox 2 news though for showing this video due to lack of respect for Jeff and his family. You people only care about ratings.

Strange comment coming from a guy who lives out in the middle of nowhere.

It's not the rating that they care about...if that was the case they would have also been there for the other accident that happend in the same spot on the other side of the highway at 10:30, they wanted people to be aware of what happend, that's why they don't release names for certain lenghts of time. If you want disrespect look at the first two posts on here....that's disrespectfull...not sharing the information for other people to send their sympathy to the family and to let them know at the time that the highway was shut down and that sparks worry and interest in people and so they want to continue with information so that people can stay informed. I will admit that I did not know the person that died, but I have lost loved ones in horrific car accidents that were on the news, and all that we were concerned about was the faimily, not the fact that it was on the news....And to you first two...O'Fallon....is no where near the boonies....so get a life!

i think "old friends of jeff" is absolutly disgusted by the fact that they showed his body, for so long just lying there in the middle of the road! that is someones son, brother, grandchild. and for them to repeadly show his body is competly ridiculous. can you imagine turning on the news and seeing your childs body laying there?
and i agree those first couple posts should be deleted IMMEDITALY shame on this website for allowing such slanger and disrespect stay on there . this makes them look back!

My sympathies to the family. What a tragedy.

The highways are filled with mindless, arrogant idiots anymore. Most cars and trucks won't even let you in when you're about to run out of lane on an entrance ramp. And forget about trying to be a good Samaritan and stopping to help someone. It's not worth dying for. Even the police with their flashing lights get run over by the idiots out there.

It's times like this when I'm glad to see police handing out speeding tickets.

The world took a loss from Jeffs death. He was a wonderful, sweet, loving and carefree person. I personally knew jeff and he will forever be in my heart and the memories of him will last a lifetime. My thoughts go out to him and his family through theses times. I will forever miss him.

It is so easy to get caught up in today's world, one can forget the ease in which accidents like this happen. Its hard to even think that someone I used to sit next to in class is now gone from this world.

This is truly a tragedy and my prayers go out to his family and close friends. He will be missed!

Wow, I love how straight ignorant people can be.. you have no idea what family and friends are going through.. like someone stated karma is a b*tch and i would advise you people who don't know him or his family to keep your dumba** opinions to yourself. How disrespectful are you people, why don't you put yourself in someone else's shoes instead of trying to get humor out of someone else's pain. Grow the hell up and get a life you a**holes.

This is from all the "redneck" "meth heads" from O'fallon. We love you Jeff and we will miss you!

TO Avenger and Duh and any others that are so horribly disrespectful to these families that are obviously in great emotional pain...

This is the one LAST thing that I will say to you...YOU are a disgrace...you have no RESPECT for anyone (proven by your post earlier today, AVENGER,regarding the young man killed on I70), right away you attack me with no regard to this young person that just lost his life and you made the FIRST POST on that subject...what the hell is wrong with you??? You are seriously NOT RIGHT!!! Do you know what cyber-bullying is JACKASS!!! I'm sure that you will soon. Remember the little girl Megan Meier??? Maybe you need to do a little homework instead of being such a racist, no good for nothing, beligerent, bitter, half witted fool. Your attempts at humor are sickening and your need for attention is ridiculous...didn't mommy breat feed you...is that your problem, in any case whatever the hell is wrong with you, is likely incurable so just go on back to your padded room and take your meds like a good little BRAT.

I don't know where the news picked up the 30 second wienie that so bravely pulled this poor guy out of the middle of the highway and no one stopped but him.Bulls___.My husband was behind the man that hit this child. He was hit with the right bumper, fender of the pick up and thrown to the shoulder, exactly where the tarp is.My husband and the person who hit him did stop, they both called 911.The boy got out of his car after it hit the brick wall and ran across the highway. The man tried his best to miss him.He is very distraught and saddened as my husband is for the boy and his family.A truck pulling doubles pulled in front of this young man,he lost control of his car and ended up hitting the wall.My husband does'nt know if this driver clipped the car or not.The job of the news media is to report the facts, not seek out someone who is willing to say what he does'nt know to be the truth just to have something to report. We are so sorry to this poor young man and his family.A sad and tragic accident, but an accident none the less. Our sympathies.
