That may be true but did she kill him? Did she deserve to die?

Please enlighten me as to what brushes with the law has to do with being murdered? God forbid you're ever on a jury. One has nothing to do with the other. Not to mention, I don't know too many people who haven't had a brush or two with the law.
I knew Tammy and I know she had an occasional drink. She was very anti-drug. I don't know about her younger years(Haven't we all done some stupid things) but once again, one has NOTHING to do with another.
Unfortunately this is the same type of response given to rape victims as though they deserved it. Tammy was a sweetheart whether or not she may have done some things wrong but who are you to judge anybody?

I could not agree with you more. I knew Tammy for about 7 years and she was not one to do drugs when I knew her. It's a shame that people would take the side of a murderer, especially when they apparently didn't have any idea what kind of sweet, loving and funny person Tammy was.

I have known Michael for about 7 years now and I have never known him to be a violent person. He was always very peaceful and resisted conflict. Drug are a terrible thing and make people do things totally out of their normal character. He also has some other medical issues that I won't get into here but I know that he is hurting about what happened. He is not a cold blooded, violent person and I feel for him right now as well as for Tammy and her family. This is a terrible tragedy.

I never knew him. I just know Tammy was a "helper" and always tried to fix people. Yes, it is a terrible tragedy and pointing fingers is no way to accomplish anything. All we can do is try and heal from this point on.
I understand the stresses of drug use and also understand what havoc lack of sleep does to a person.
Either way, it's a terrible thing. I just feel for her brothers.

This man is a murderer no matter how you sugar coat it Mr. Disapointed!!! And Mr. "friend of Michael" you should choose better friends. Medical problems or not he is a murderer. He killed her and then taped her body up so he could hide her body in the trunk of her car. Not to mention he drove the car away from his house because it wasn't there earlier in the day when her brother and cops showed up looking for her,.. only hours later to drive the car back to his drive way then call himself into the cops!!! Do you realize she was dead in the trunk of her car for over a day. He took a life... drugs, medical problems IT DOESN'T MATTER!!! Tammy didn't deserve what he did to her and for anyone to get on here and down her because at one point in life she may have had a "brush with the law" SO WHAT! She never killed anyone!!!!!!! Seh didn't do drugs and most all of us have drank alcohol in our day how does that in any way relate to what he did????!!!?!? IT DOESN'T!

I'll agree 100% with the friends and family of Tammy. I normally don't post on here, but I was the officer who got the first call and initiated the investigation. Feel so so sorry for the family of Tammy to have to find out the way she died. I got the original call to go to her home and ask her brother if he had seen her. I was the one to find an empty room looking just like Tammy left it the day she was last there. Not knowing she would never be back. With everyting looking normal and not much unusual, I kept looking and asking for answers. I knew something was wrong. I eventually was able to get a neighboring Police agency to track down the usless piece of **** that did this to her. I know a lot more about the case than most of you, but I will tell you he drove another female to a home and went inside and had sex, while Tammy was dead in the trunk of her own car. I don't think we can excuse this by blaming it on drugs. Every Officer has many calls that stay with them because they have human feelings just like others. Maybe sometimes we get attached to close to some of the terrible things we have to deal with. This was one of those that stayed with me. I am truly sorry for Tammy's family. May God bless them and all who knew her.

I know this is probably past tense but now that it's been almost a year since Tammy was killed I have to say this. Whoever wrote that Tammy has brushes with the law and was into drugs herself didn't know Tammy. I knew her for 5 years and she never did anything like that, She was a decent person and she always wanted to see the best in everyone even to the point of being naive about it. She wanted to help him with his problems and it got her killed. Just goes to show that some people are beyond help. I feel for her family which I know and for his family as well because they will have to live with what he did just as much as he will. But I hope he rots in hell for what he did to her but not after a long time of suffering for it in Jail.

I no longer live in the St. Charles area but in Philly. I do keep up on news from back home and seeing as how I worked quite a number of years with both Tammy and Rob as part of the MTM family I have kept up on this case. I do not feel the punishment was strict enough, but .....hopefully family can begin to heal a little. Please know though I am not at home, you are in my thoughts. God Bless.
And Rob, it's been a while, but if you need to chat, you know people who know how to contact me.

I feel the same thing AWOL. I mean how can someone sit in a comfy jail cell while we pay all of his bills after what he did.
I worked with Tammy for years and she was such a sweet person. I can't get over the fact that someone could do that to her. Anyone who knows Tammy should raise a glass in her honor on Thursday the 11th as it would have been her birthday.
I all miss her and hope the family will be able to heal some now. I love you Rob and the rest of your family are in my thoughts and prayers always.

Whoever said that they know Michael and that he isn't violent must not know him at all...He is the sperm donor to my children and believe me he is very violent... He has tried to kill me and been arrested several times for violence. He assaulted me while I was pregnant and left me in fear of my life several times. I moved away but would google his name every now and again to make sure he wasn't close by, unfortunantly the last time i did i saw the story of Tamara's murder... I feel as though i should have done something more because i knew it was only a matter of time before he took someones life like he almost did mine several years ago. But with his parents backing and ignorance behind him he got bailed out of everything... My deepest sympathy goes to Tamara's family and friends even though I never knew her, I think of her everyday
