As a business owner in Pitman I have to agree that changing the "dry" status would bring more business to the community - which we need and deserve...I think a problem might be that once the change occurs, should bars and pubs become part of the setting, due to the fact that we are less than 2 miles from Rowan University, it will be quite hard to keep the town from turning into a college party town...Hey I'm all for it. lol. At least it would be nice to have responsible drinking implemented into local restaurants...

The cops will also have more incentive to run DUI check points!

They better hurry, seems the retail owners are closing and moving elsewhere. The untimley street or sidewalk construction doesn't help. The educational store, closed, Linder's Valley , gone 12/31. The bakery?, unknown status.
