I would like to hear any information on the local legend of the China mans grave near Wellsville. I heard about it from a local native from Benson years ago along with other interesting local legends as told by school children. Witches circle in Mendon, Bigfoot in the Providence gravel pit. etc. Legend goes that the locals wouldn't let a China man be buried in the town cemetary and so he is buried on the bench somewhere in Wellsville. If you lay on his grave the same way he is laying in the ground, he grabs you and you can't move.
