I am so saddened and sickened by this story. I read a brief snipet in the Times Union in Albany where I live. I looked on the web for a paper in your area and found this site. It is a privledge to adopt a child. I'm adopted and was raised by a wonderful loving family. I 'm sure this child thought he was going to be loved, cared for and nurtured unconditionally by his new family. Did the adoption agency fail him somehow? Were there any red flags during this family's application process? To come here and get abused for having a disability and not speaking English properly is horriffic. Adopting a foreign born child can be a tough transition and frustrating at times for parents. Any one would agree that this childs physical and mental well being are paramount. This couple took their frustration out on this poor little sweetheart. My hope is that he is never reunited with them and adopted by a loving family. The judge should throw the book at this couple. Thank you for letting me express my feelings and opinion about this sad situation.

Sincerely,

Rachel Johnson
