Whatever the amont was from the stimulus package to work on our roads, the cost of flying the vice president and all of his entourage had to be triple that amount. It was pure pandemonium at New Century during the duration of his short visit. Truck drivers were not allowed in or out of the air center which caused back ups and late deliveries. The police would not let people leave to go home from their jobs and all just for show. If they had sent us the money it cost to fly him and his people and all of their vehicles here we could have fixed a lot more roads.Instead the tax payers probably spent more to have him here than we got in the stimulus deal.

Most everything our current administration does is for show. Obama is a pathological narcissist. He has to garner as much attention as possible to prove that he is the most important human on the planet. Just take a look at the sheer arrogance that shows in his eyes. The man is seriously mentally ill.

Gimme a break. I didn't vote for either one of the dummies. I voted third party KNOWING my guy would lose. I'm tired of choosing the lesser of two evils. I get all the attention I can stand. I'd just as soon be on top of a big hill in the middle of nowhere. Try another angle, jackass.

I am still very thankful we have Joe Biden as our VP instead of Sara Palin.

Lesser of two evils? Or the fact that Biden doesn't look as good in heels as Palin?

Typical immature statement made by someone who clearly doesn't understand what is going on. We don't want a President who is just wanting attention. Obama needs to make the right choices and the right changes for America. So far he hasn't. Luckily, you live in Overland Park, a county that wasn't broken but may soon be if the administration gets their way by punishing corporations. You just understand it. Wouldn't wanna be you in 2012.

Here is what should have happened. Instead of bailing out these banks, we should have let them fail and let other pick up the slack. It would have caused some people to lose jobs, and some would have had to relocate, but since the Stimulus package was passed, 1.6 million jobs have been lost. In an effort to what Obama said himself, "The stimulus package saved or created 150,000 jobs", 1.6 million other people lost theirs. The stimulus package wasn't coherently discussed. It was rushed through to have an appearance they were doing something rather than doing something objective towards actually solving the problem. A POWER GRAB!

Biden was eminently qualified for the VP position while Palin was on the McCain ticket to appease the religious fundies.

Nope.
Biden was much more qualified than Palin.
It was a joke that Palin was on the McCain ticket in the first place. He would of had a better chance at winning if he had picked a mainstream Republican.

You sir, are a complete idiot. I wasn't talking about not liking my country. I was talking about not liking all the attention I have to put up with. I have the right to like or not like anyone in the political arena. That is, unless that part of the Bill of Rights doesn't apply to someone who thinks Obama is a fool, which is quite possible nowadays.

Probably much more qualified, but only on paper. I would dread either one of them being president. The 2 of them together don't equal Dan Quayle and he shouldn't have been elected dog-catcher.
