The thing to do if you care about your family stay out of these places. Go to the pumps and pay stay close to your car and pump gas. Do not take you family in those places it is only getting worst with the drugs in this area. If you stay out of these places you will have your life and better health junk food...and will not be in there when they get robbed again it will happen. Drugs Drugs. No Jobs No Jobs No Jobs Drugs Drugs.

Do you actually want people to feel sorry for you and the robbers? They knowingly robbed a business. Someone worked hard to create the business and employees work hard to keep it running. They are the victims here. Not the gun carrying robbers, or their families.

Shalena,

Your family does have my sympathy. While the boys do need to be held accountable, sometimes there are extenuating circumstances and in most cases they need some type of help. My relative who was involved needs help on different levels and no one here will ever convince me that he needs to be in the same lock up with cold blooded murders and child rapists. In most cases like my relative and others, they need medical and professional help, possibly drug rehabilitation, a structured environment and to be taught coping skills. While I do not condone using a poor childhood full of trauma and abuse for an excuse to commit a crime, I do feel certain aspects need to be taken into consideration. You're only going to get inflamed, biased, and sometimes downright irrational responses on this forum. Don't let it get to you. Keep your head up and make sure your relative gets the help they need even if that ends up being incarceration in addition to rehabilitation. Best Wishes.

well, seems to me it's defiantly going to be incarceration... these kids are not the brightest stars in the sky, by ALL means.
i don't feel sorry for these families for their drug addicted kids, nieces / nephews, aunt / uncles, etc... everyone has at least one drug head in their family. i have had mine. but, they were NOT like these people that are here today. they held jobs and worked for their means. i think that all store employees should be able to carry concealed weapons and fight these people back!!! i'm not worried about these scums families and "oh my, how are they going to deal with this crisis", i'm concerned about the HARD working people that have to endure this. let's just hope and pray that justice will have a firm and swift hand that shows no mercy.

Just because one person got on this forum begging for pitty doesnt mean the entire family wants it also. What these boys done was wrong and they need to be treated as criminals. I do not feel bad for them, nor will I take up for them in any way. I do however feel sorry for the cashiers that had the guns pointed at their faces!

I can understand you saying that if Shane is your relative because he's a 33 year old career criminal. But the other two are 18 and 19 and still have hope.

No sympathy here.. With ARMED ROBBERY that means a gun/knife/weapon of some sort was used.. If that is the case then as stated above someone at the register was confronted .. Thats the person that needs felt sorry for. Drugs are NO EXCUSE.. If they wanted help they would have gone too Woodland Centers and asked for help.. They wanted their NEXT FIX... NO EXCUSES TO ROB WITH A WEAPON.. NO EXCUSE TO ROB AT ALL.. Shoulda shot themselves, stupid a$$es

You all need to thank your God that i was not in line behind them because i promise you there would have been a shootout.. They would be singing over those scum sucking a$$holes right now.. I hate a thief and worse yet i hate an ARMED THIEF.

To you Ma'am , when guns are drawn people die.. That is a worse case then any rape.. PEOPLE DIE..

Rape is a power thing. It is brutal but in most cases it is power over another not power to steal and kill like ARMED ROBBERY.. 10 years Minimum in this state if memory serves me correctly.. I Hope they get every day of it!!!

You picked a real winner if you know he does drugs and he robbed a gas station. I think you need to re-evaluate your screening process for future boyfriends.
