Hello this post is to tell you about someone in wellston that is HONEST!!! Woo Whoo. Recently my truck need work done as it would roll backwards after putting it in park. I was told by several mechanics this was a 150 dollar job. A couple of days ago i lost heat in my truck I was told it needed a new heater coil box. This entailed taking the dash completely apart to fix and would cost 1000-1400 dollars to fix. I proceded to go to 7 more garages to be told the same 1200-1500 labor and all. Yesterday I took it to the new garage behind the old charlie ingalls car lot, Wellston Tire & Auto Repair. They changed my oil fixed my tire and flushed the radiator after installing a new therostat. It still had no heat, but i was told 350 to do the 1400 job of others. Well i left after shelling out 524 for everything total. This morning Wellston Tire called me to say my teuck was done AND I had overpaid by 312 dollars They Were Giving Back To Me!!!! I could have jumped for joy, as I live on widow's benifits. So Jeff , Chuck I thank you so much and I hope everyone see fit to help this business stay opened and thriving in our town.

That is wonderful and I'm sure they have better character than the duo down the road who have filthy mouths and manners, not to mention the females. Ick!

I was absolutely floored when I found out they were returning my money. I was so happy to have an 1800 dollar jon done for 524 that I paid it . I would have never have known if they hadn't told me. The owner's name is Jeff, the mechanics are Chuck , Roy (i think) Travis Jeff's son and another two. They charge 35 $ an hour thats 1/2 of ALL the local mechanics. New tires are 55-60 dollars mounted and balanced used ones 21.50 mounted and balanced. Please tell others if they need work done honestly and fairly to go to Wellston Tire& Auto.(across from auto zone on right)

Usually I can read between the lines and in this case it sounds like a great advertisement for the business you are talking about.. Honestly it was pretty convincing until you named everyone there and told tire prices both new and used along with hourly rates.. If you knew all these people By Name then why did you look at 7 other mechanics before going to this place first?
If you guys wanted to advertise why didn't you just post hourly rates, tire prices, hours of service, and number of years the mechanics have under their belts with a promise to treat everyone as fair as possible without this lameass BS Story about a refund to a little old lady on a pension.. Next time you make up a story then don't tell us that the business called telling you to come pick up your truck that the service was finished and you got a refund of money because NOBODY PAYS UP FRONT not knowing what the costs are until the job is DONE.. PFFFFTttttttt

Be Rock let me answer your questions. First they didnt know i even posted this. Second im absolutely telling you the truth about them giving back my money. And as unbeliveable as it may seem i did pay them up front. Let me explain why the first day i stayed the 4 hrs my truck was being worked on and watched like a hawk . That evening I still didnt have heat or when they said theyd keep it overnight and start first thing next morning i paid for the addtional work. I wasnt worried because i left with a reciept showing full balance paid. The prices i quoted in my second post was what i had time to read in the 4 hrs i was there waiting. Also i think because they were truthful enough to give my money back when they could have easily made me believe they had to do xtra work iI owe them something. This is Why I posted everything i have said. It is all the truth and besides i only listed the owner and the mechanic i worked with. Be cynical if you wish but dont try to harm this business by calling me a liar. The truth is this -I was overcharged and THEY GAVE BACK MY Money! One more thing i have both receipts if anyone wants to see for themselves.

well there you are giving an hourly rate and estimated price BEFORE any work gets done. Its also on an itemized receipt after work is done.

I never post on here, but I hate to see a good business with exceptional service being battered. Our wheel bearing went out on our Durango...we took it to them with the wheel about to fall off. They gave us a ride home and although we didn't have the money for two days (until we got paid) they went ahead and ordered the parts and had it fixed a day before we were able to pay. We called them when we got our money abd they came and got my husband and took him down to get the Durango. We were referred to the shop by a friend of ours who won't take her vehicle anywhere else, and I'm glad she sent us there. Oh and today...we had something wrong on the wheel of the durango and they stayed late to fix it for us. They are great to work with, and just because she knows their names does not mean she is advertising for them. It just means that they left that much of an impression on her that she remembers them. I could tell you all of their names and I've only met them twice. I recommend them highly. They treat you very good, and I don't know them personally but professionally they are top notch.

Thank You your right they made an impression on me with thier honesty. I have been robbed both by thieves in this town several times while the wpd files police reports nothing gets done. Ive been robbed by a couple of so called friends who were supposed to be collecting money for a family that lost everything then wasnt true. Ive neen robbed by mechanics who thought I didnt have sense to go somewhere else. So when i meet a Honest person who DOESN'T rob me when they could have and go away with it then YES im gonna remember them AND tell anyone that will listen about it.!!! So if that means i'm advertising for them then so be it.

be rock i called that garage today and a very nice man told me on the phone just anout what it would be to fix my car, and it was 1/3 of what my regular guy charges. I took it to them , i was treated kind and left with a reciept only .27 cents more than the phone estimate. So you just hush now, this is one time you are wrong.
